Hammer Perforating, LLC | Application Preview

Hammer Perforating, LLC is seeking government grants to expand its operations and recover from the impacts of COVID-19. The funding will be used to purchase additional equipment and diversify service offerings within the oil and gas industry.

The owner started the business using personal funds but has struggled financially due to the pandemic. As a Hispanic veteran with ten years of military service, the owner feels overlooked and unable to access traditional loans due to poor credit. The business has not previously sought assistance but is now in urgent need due to the challenges posed by COVID-19, offering equipment as collateral for loans.

In terms of competition, the owner faces challenges from three main rivals that operate wireline trucks, which limits their ability to compete effectively. The owner believes that by expanding services and personnel, the business can become more competitive. The company has established a strong reputation for quality and reliability, with loyal customers who prefer their services but are constrained by the lack of proper equipment to meet demand. Securing this funding is crucial for enhancing capabilities and maintaining customer satisfaction.
