Mouth, Hands, Feet Inc. 83-4176087 | Government Grant Application

Mouth, Hands, Feet Inc. | Application Preview

Mouth, Hands, Feet Inc. is seeking government funding to enhance its outreach services focused on supporting homeless and underserved families in the Amarillo community. The funds will be allocated toward acquiring a food truck and supplies to ensure meals are prepared and delivered in compliance with health regulations. Additionally, an economy kitchen is needed for adequate meal preparation space. The organization also offers essential services like assistance with obtaining identification cards, providing groceries, and offering clothing to individuals reentering society.

Over the next five years, the ministry aims to expand its feeding programs and improve its community outreach by delivering nutritious meals and hygiene supplies while also reinforcing its reentry program designed to assist individuals transitioning back into the workforce.

The application argues for funding approval by highlighting the unique approach of Mouth, Hands, Feet compared to other nonprofits. Their hands-on strategy involves reaching out directly to those in need, ensuring that assistance is provided even in the hardest-to-reach areas. The ministry positions itself as a critical bridge for those requiring help accessing comprehensive services, emphasizing a commitment to not just provide handouts but to empower individuals to improve their situations.

In terms of competition, the organization asserts that it has no direct rivals due to its distinct methodology of finding individuals in need and providing immediate assistance. Their competitive edge lies in their ability to connect with those often overlooked, offer spiritual support, and demonstrate self-sufficiency in funding the services they believe are necessary for individual growth and recovery.

  • Funding Usage

The ministry needs the funds to get back on track. We are in need of a food truck and supplies to deliver the food accordingly to health regulations. An economy kitchen is needed to have the appropriate space to prepare meals. We also supply hygienes and other services help to the homeless or less fortunate families( such as getting identification cards, groceries for families, clothing for people being released from incarceration, and reentering society.

  • Business Plan

Within the next five years, the ministry plans to be able to productively expand our feeding areas. We should be able to throughout all the Amarillo community and provide wholesome, hot healthy, nutritious meals, and hygienes. We sho also have our reentering community program together to assist those in need where they will have the tools to successfully join in the workforce and become productive. Mouth, Hands, and Feet should be invested in due to the fact that it is different than any other nonprofit in the community. This ministry goes from alley to alley, cubby hole to cubby hole making sure no stones are unturned when it comes to feeding the homeless and hungry. We get out there and provide for the people and families that can not make it to other facilities to get the help needed. Mouth, Hands, and Feet goes more than the extra mile we go all the way.

  • Self Identified Competition

I truly feel as if we have no competitors that do what we do or how we do it. We are the hand up and not the handout. We provide our services to help less fortunate people make it to where full services can be provided. We are the bridge for people to make it to other facilities to be fully assisted in everyday life. We are different in ways such as 1) finding the people that really are in need 2) feeding and assisting them to where they can get to facilities that help with the core of their needs. 3) we stop and drop on our knees offering prayer and hope at the any given time 4) we believe in ourselves to where we fund the services we feel is needed in each individuals life
