Drippy Tails LLC 85-2180878 | Government Grant Application

Drippy Tails LLC | Application Preview

Drippy Tails LLC is seeking government grants to help alleviate shipping costs that have led to significant inventory shortages, negatively impacting customer satisfaction. The funding would enable the business to place larger inventory orders, reducing delays caused by supplier issues.

The long-term business plan involves scaling up to establish a U.S.-based manufacturing company focused on organic dog wear. Drippy Tails aims to streamline production through custom orders, ultimately lowering costs and increasing profit margins. A key aspect of growth involves aggressive marketing strategies, particularly through social media, where the company has already built an organic following of approximately 1,300 people through networking rather than paid advertising.

Drippy Tails recognizes competition from larger retailers like Petsmart and PetCo, pointing out that their substantial advertising budgets give them an advantage in reaching wider audiences. However, the company emphasizes its commitment to personal customer engagement and community building as a competitive edge, contrasting its direct outreach capabilities with the less responsive nature of larger corporations. The founder's dedication and experience in the small business sector further bolster the case for funding to support growth and operational improvements.

  • Funding Usage

Hello, I need the funding in order for me to cut shipping cost during these difficult and unprecedented times. The HUGE issue I have is my inventory is out of stock for weeks on in due to delayed shipping from suppliers. This is causing customers to turn away or go elsewhere as it’s not a good customer experience. A solution to this would be if I can get funding to place larger orders of inventory. That way I can keep enough inventory untilI can restock again.

  • Business Plan

My plan is to grow large enough to where I can afford a US based manufacturing company that focuses on organic production for dog wear. I currently have multiple supplies so it would be ideal if I could find my own manufacture and place my own custom orders. Once I get to that point the sky is really the limit as I could cut prices down on my cost causing profit margins to grow. The way I plan to get there is marketing marketing marketing and trying to find funding like this to get my shipping cost down. Most of my customers come from social media so that will play a HUGE role in my plan to grow. I have the drive focus to really use these investments towards the growth of my business and brand. I am a one man army and within 4 weeks I have grown an organic following of about 1.3k people. Not just by paid ads but by me having the grind to reach out and network with my target audience. I have a full time job working at godaddy and have been there for 5 years, so I’ve have my fairly large share of watching /helping small business develop and maintain.

  • Self Identified Competition

Petsmart PetCo Barks fifth avenue The fact that they have the funding and budget to pay tons of money into automated ads. So yes they reach larger crowds and have cooler ads.. But they don’t know their customers, they don’t rally engage with the community, you can’t inbox those companies and expect a fast reply if one at all. Being by myself I feel it gives me such an edge because I can organically network and get to know my customers.
