Like many of us know to well, the discovery of Covid-19 have been costly; and not just monetary, but both the emotional and spiritual cost have also taken there tolls. After years of trial and error, patience and persistence, I final felt I’ve etched out a piece of my own America Dream, only to be sideline by the pandemic. As a young African American woman I was taught that we stand on the shoulders of those who’ve sacrificed and endured the painful cost of freedom. Securing this grant will assist me in my ongoing life work to capture and fulfill that Dream and serve my community.

My top three competitors are: Zoups Pot Belly Panera Bread Even though these companies are much larger than my own. I consider them a competitor because of their menu options. We use only select fresh produce, poultry, seafood and herbs. 99% of our soups are gluten-free, as well as, most of our menu items and we use only Halal Chicken in our recipes.
