Martell Family Trucking 385908768 | Government Grant Application

Martell Family Trucking | Application Preview

Martell Family Trucking is seeking government grants to purchase the log truck they currently operate. This investment is intended to secure a stable income for the owner's family of eight, as he is the sole breadwinner. With 20 years of experience in the logging industry, the owner aims to establish a family-run business that could eventually be passed down to his six children, including his eldest, who recently obtained a commercial driver's license and is already driving a log truck.

The owner highlights his commitment and strong reputation in the industry, emphasizing his dedication to working tirelessly to meet monthly quotas for local mills. Despite competition from other log haulers in the area, he believes that his hard work and determination will allow him to stand out and successfully fulfill his business goals. However, he is currently facing a funding shortfall that hinders his ability to purchase the truck and expand the business.

  • Funding Usage

I would like to buy the logtruck I am driving currently to better provide for my family of 8 as I am the sole provider.

  • Business Plan

I am looking to provide a stable business for my 6 kids to hopefully take over when the time is needed. My oldest just got his cdl and is currently driving logtruck also. My hopes of buying more trucks so we can be a family run business. I have been in this business for 20 years and would love an opportunity to buy my own logtruck. I have spent countless hours in the truck to provide for my family on my own. I have a great reputation in the logging industry and know I have what it takes to make it work. I am just lacking funding.

  • Self Identified Competition

We have lots of local area log haulers , everybody is given a quota to fill each month and the hauling I have comes with the truck. I will work day and night to fill my contracts with the mills to get my quota for the month. It takes a lot of hardwork and determination.
