North East Equine Therapy 81-3744535 | Government Grant Application

North East Equine Therapy | Application Preview

North East Equine Therapy (NEET) is applying for government grants to enhance its facilities by constructing ADA-approved parking and wheelchair ramps and expanding restrooms to better accommodate individuals with disabilities. The organization plans to rebuild its client base as normalcy returns post-COVID-19, offering an array of equine programs at their farm.

NEET aims to be a comprehensive resource for disabled riders, providing equine boarding, therapeutic riding lessons, and a supportive environment for equine enthusiasts. The organization aligns with PATH International, which has a substantial network of approved instructors and volunteers in the therapeutic horsemanship sector, reflecting the growing demand and participation in this field.

Currently, NEET faces minimal competition, with only one other center in Wentzville, MO. Their competitive edge lies in their commitment to improving lives for individuals with disabilities and veterans, emphasizing collaboration within the industry rather than competition.

Our client base once we resume some kind of normalcy from the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to obtain more clients and integrating more programs into our current farm. NEET is designed to provide, first and foremost, a single source for the disabled rider. We will provide everything from a place of equine boarding, therapeutic riding lessons and all around enjoyment for the equine owner/enthusiast. PATH Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (formally known as North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) was formed in 1969. Currently, there are over 2000 approved instructors nationwide, and well over 30,000 volunteers, about 1000 or so licensed therapists and over 5000 therapy horses being used worldwide. These numbers are growing at a record pace.

  • Self Identified Competition

We really do not have any competitors in this industry. There is another therapeutic riding center in Wentzville MO. Therapeutic Horsemanship. As stated before, we don't really have any competitors as we are all in this industry to improve the lives of disabled riders and PTSD/Veterans.
