Mangrove Flooring & Renovations LLC L22000263002 | Government Grant Application

Mangrove Flooring & Renovations LLC | Application Preview

Mangrove Flooring & Renovations LLC is seeking government grant funding to enhance its operations and marketing efforts. The funding will be allocated for purchasing a new truck and a vehicle wrap featuring the company logo for advertising purposes. Additionally, the business plans to acquire essential power tools with warranties, invest in promotional materials such as posters and business cards, and develop custom apparel. A website will also be launched to showcase completed projects and offer scheduling options for clients.

The five-year business strategy includes expanding to three fully equipped vehicles, enabling simultaneous work on multiple jobs with a team of employees. To achieve this, the owner intends to reinvest 70% of profits back into the business. The short-term goal is to obtain a second vehicle and hire a reliable employee within the next two years, which will help increase profitability and facilitate growth.

The owner highlights a strong foundation of experience dating back to age 16 in various management roles and construction work, showcasing a track record of dedication and a passion for the trade. Personal discipline and a robust work ethic are emphasized, with a commitment to quality workmanship and client satisfaction setting the business apart from competitors.

Currently, competition is minimal due to lower pricing strategies for a new venture, but the owner’s focus on perfection, reliability, and flexibility in work hours reinforces a competitive advantage in the industry.

I will use the funding to finance a newer truck. Then buy a wrap with my logo for the truck, so I can advertise while I drive. Then I will buy all the power tools I need for work and get warranties on all them. I will also buy a lot of posters and advertising for my business. I will also buy business cards, custom tee shirts, and any other accessories. I will also start a website to start posting my work and create a schedule on it for people to sign up.

  • Business Plan

My goal to grow my business in 5 years is to own at least 3 vehicles that are stocked with all the tools needed to complete my jobs. This way I can be working on 3 separate jobs at the same time (with employees). My plan to achieve this goal is to reinvest 70% of all my profits back into the business. My short term goal, 2 years, is to have my vehicle and a second one with a good #2 employee. This will allow me to bring in profits twice and fast and grow exponentially from there. Investors should invest in me because I am focused, disciplined, and patience. My business experience starts when I was 16. As soon I was able to drive I was focused on finding work. I first worked at two different restaurants and I was able to easily move up to management positions. Then I was a manager for a storage unit business (all this while I was still in high school). In college I started working in construction and instantly knew it was for me. I enjoy tearing things apart and rebuilding them. I was asked if I could remodel a condo by myself, while only having 3 months of experience. I took the job because I was confident and wanted to challenge myself. I finished the job in 3 weeks and then wanted to start my own business. I stay focused while I’m on the job and keep all distractions to a minimum. I am also very disciplined in my life. Aside from working, I am also take my fitness very seriously. I will work 8-12 hours in one day and still make it to the gym to work out for 2-3 hours. The longest I’ve worked was 60 hours in 5 days. One of those days, I worked for 16 hours straight. I am very patient with my work and in my life. This allows me to take my time while I’m installing materials. It also allows me to not get emotionality overwhelmed while I’m working or talking to clients.

  • Self Identified Competition

I have not ran into any competitions yet because I keep my prices low due to starting out. I am different from my competitors because I will not walk alway from a job if it is not perfect. I do not let little things slide or try to cover my mistakes. I also will work any time needed am/pm as long as it is accepted by the community.
