SHINE Yoga Project LLC 46-3442618 | Government Grant Application

SHINE Yoga Project LLC | Application Preview

SHINE Yoga Project LLC is applying for government grants to address financial challenges brought on by the Covid shutdown. The funds will be used to pay off credit card debt and make essential updates to their facility, such as improving check-in areas and installing new flooring.

The business plan involves using the grant to gain working capital needed to achieve recognition as a Registered Yoga School, which will allow them to offer education both locally and internationally. There is a significant demand for yoga certifications, and SHINE intends to fulfill this need while also increasing yoga class offerings to include early morning and late evening sessions. Additionally, the plan includes expanding their Youth Yoga Program through partnerships with local schools and organizations to promote mindfulness among youth.

SHINE Yoga Project has been a reliable and community-oriented presence for over a decade, focusing on mental and physical health, and consistently supporting local charities. Despite the financial strain of the pandemic, the business remains dedicated to its mission and is committed to long-term sustainability.

In terms of competition, they face larger fitness centers like One Power Yoga, Lifetime Fitness, and Burn Bootcamp. However, SHINE's competitive edge lies in its personal approach as a small business that fosters strong relationships and is deeply involved in community outreach, emphasizing the importance of mental, physical, and spiritual health for its clients.

I would have the working capital to become a Registered Yoga School and educate internationally and locally. There is a huge need in the wellness community for these certifications and I have the space to offer them. I will bring back more yoga class offerings to expand the community to those who need early morning and late evening opportunities. I will expand the Youth Yoga Program by collaborating with the local schools and organizations that want to bring mindfulness to the youth in our communities. SHINE Yoga Project has been a consistent and highly integrous part of our community for 10 years. We provide a place of mental health awareness, physical health improvement and community. We support our local charities consistently and all of the SHINE staff is involved in outreach locally and globally as well. I have a history of financial success before the Covid Shutdown which drained our resources, but yet we are still going and plan to continue for a very long time.
