Emersion CrossFit | Application Preview
Emersion CrossFit is seeking government grants to update their equipment and flooring after 12 years in operation, during which they have experienced significant wear and tear. Despite wanting to make necessary upgrades, the costs are beyond their current budget.
The business is actively implementing new programs, specifically targeting special populations such as aging adults. With the recent hire of a General Manager, they are focused on enhancing member retention and attracting new clients. Improvements to their facility would help market their services and support an expanding membership base.
Emersion CrossFit has established itself as a vital boutique fitness facility, making a positive impact on the health and well-being of their community. As a woman of color and a partially disabled female veteran, the owner has faced numerous challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic but has persevered in providing essential fitness services.
In terms of competition, they face other boutique fitness chains, numerous CrossFit gyms, and large fitness facilities. However, their competitive edge lies in their tailored programs for aging adults and individuals who may feel uncomfortable in traditional gym environments. They prioritize a supportive and safe transition into fitness, offer personalized coaching, and invest in staff training to stay aligned with industry trends and maintain a client-centered approach.
