Flaps20 sauces and rubs | Application Preview

Flaps20 Sauces and Rubs is applying for government grants to support their expansion plans. They aim to launch three new sauces inspired by Texas, Memphis, and Tennessee, along with a seafood boil product. The company is also looking to establish a retail location that will serve as both a shipping distribution center and storefront, allowing them to reach more national retailers with custom packaging displays.

As part of their growth strategy, the business plans to leverage an upcoming internship with a digital marketing firm to enhance their online presence and social media reach. They will focus on converting wholesale accounts to retail-friendly packaging and aim to increase their wholesale accounts and international exports. The introduction of new products is scheduled for early 2023 to complete their offerings.

Flaps20 intends to participate in food competitions and culinary events to build credibility and promote their brand. They plan to enter national flavor contests and engage in networking opportunities at food and outdoor shows to attract new markets.

The funding application emphasizes their foundation in strong family values and a grassroots approach inspired by 20 years of military service. Their commitment to customer relationships and hands-on efforts in the industry is bolstered by their frequent participation in culinary competitions, allowing them to form partnerships with leading figures.

In terms of competition, Flaps20 identifies rivals such as All Qued Up, Boar's Night Out, and DB 180. Their competitive edge lies in their focus on small-batch flavors, prioritizing quality regional tastes over a wide variety of less distinct specialty rubs.
