Shea's Delight | Application Preview
Shea's Delight is seeking government grants to fund the purchase of a food trailer, which will enable the business to sell products at various public and private events. Over the next five years, the goal is to use the trailer to participate in local markets, fairs, and private gatherings, ultimately expanding into a commercial kitchen and storefront.
The business, led by an active duty military servicewoman, emphasizes a strong commitment to serving others and a genuine passion for baking. This dedication has fueled the rapid growth of Shea's Delight, and grant funding would significantly contribute to its future success.
In terms of competition, Shea's Delight faces competition from Callahan Cookie Co., a small business with greater resources. However, Shea's Delight stands out due to the owner’s unique circumstances: balancing military service, 12-hour work shifts, graduate school, and managing a small business. This determination and drive to turn passion into a thriving enterprise highlight the need for financial support to continue on this path.

Business Plan
In the next 5 years, I plan to have a food trailer for local public events such as markets and fairs as well as private events such as corporate parties, birthday parties, weddings and other events. I also plan to grow into a commercial kitchen and storefront. Investors should invest in me and my business because I am an active duty military servicewoman who is passionate about serving others. I have always had a passion for baking cookies for others and that passion has evolved into a fast-growing business. Investor funds will be assist the further growth of my business and the astronomical success I foresee.

Self Identified Competition
My biggest competition currently is Callahan Cookie Co. She is a small business, however she has more time and funding. I am different from my competitors because I am still active duty military, working 12-hour shifts 5 times a week. I am also attending graduate school while running a small business. I am determined to make my passion into a profitable, thriving business, however I realize that I need help.
