Trinity Housecalls 4474 Savage Station Drive | Government Grant Application

Trinity Housecalls | Application Preview

Trinity Housecalls is applying for government grants to enhance its operations and better serve patients. The funding will be used to establish an office to move away from using a home address for safety, hire an additional Nurse Practitioner (NP) to assist with patient care, and purchase a vehicle for home visits.

The business aims to increase its patient base and transition to an office-based setting. The owner expresses a deep passion for the work, feeling it fulfills a divine purpose and highlights the growth in the number of patients served, particularly among the elderly and underserved populations. A key component of their service is providing care without co-pays for those lacking insurance, as well as accommodating Medicaid patients even when coverage is insufficient.

The application notes that there are no notable competitors impacting growth. Since launching in 2020, the company has gained traction through word-of-mouth referrals from patients, Home Health Agencies, hospitals, and insurance companies.

Trinity Housecalls differentiates itself by providing thorough education to patients about their medications and ensuring timely communication and service. With around 190 patients, the owner can maintain a personal connection and understanding of each individual's history, which enhances the overall care experience.

  • Funding Usage

I want to open an office to stop using my home address for safety reasons. I would like to hire another NP to help see patients. I would like to buy a vehicle to use to travel to patients homes.

  • Business Plan

I would like to increase in my number of patients & possibly open an office to start seeing patients in an office setting I love what I do & I feel like I’m full-filling my purpose here on earth. God has really blessed me & I’ve grown in the number of patients. It would be beneficial for the elderly & underserved individuals & promote access to quality care. There are so many individuals who enjoy not being able to pay co-pays when going in to see doctors. I do not charge them co-pays if they do not have a secondary insurance. I have also provided courtesy visits for individuals with no insurance or Medicaid. I have seen Medicaid patients in which Medicaid does not pay at all or not as well. I would also like to hire another employee to help relieve some stress of trying to see patients & handle office issues.

  • Self Identified Competition

I don’t have any competitors that I can think of that has affected my growth. I started this company in 2020. I get several referrals by word of mouth from other patients or Home Health Agencies who have reported they like my documentation & the way I care for my patients. I also get referrals from hospitals & insurance companies. I always educate thoroughly. Several patients have reported that they are just given medications & they haven’t been educated on them. I try to return calls in a timely manner. My office assistant is really good with getting their messages to me & medication refills sent in a timely manner is what I’ve been told. Another compliment that they have reported is that they actually get someone when they call the office phone. Last, I have approximately 190 patients which is small compared to some companies with 800-2000. I’m more familiar with history when they call because I don’t have many.
