Rooster's Catering And Events | Application Preview
Rooster's Catering And Events is applying for government grants to support various aspects of their business. The funding will be used for building renovations to meet code requirements, staff uniforms, purchasing three branded company vehicles for catering, food and cleaning supplies, insurance, and marketing expenses.
The business plan involves franchising Rooster's to establish multiple locations around Omaha and neighboring cities, with a goal of owning at least five restaurants in five years.
The applicant believes approval of the funding is justified because Rooster's will offer a unique dining experience by combining a full buffet and a sports bar, a concept not currently available in the area. With over 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry, the owner is confident in their ability to deliver a diverse menu catering to various dietary preferences, including holiday meals.
In terms of competition, while established fast-food chains have global recognition, the owner aims to leverage their novelty and commitment to daily specials to attract customers. Rooster's will feature unique offerings like a fajita station, house-made sauces, and signature burgers with innovative toppings. Additionally, the restaurant will serve alcohol and specialty drinks, setting it apart from competitors.

Funding Usage
I will be using funds in many different ways. first you have the building and the inspections to get it up to code 100%. Then you have the uniforms for staff (shirts, pants and even the proper non slip shoes). I want to have 3 company vehicles to deliver food or do a catering event i would also like my logo on the trucks. My food and cleaning supplies as well as the insurance i will need including workman's comp. And there is the matter of buying alcohol and the various funds needed for advertising and marketing.

Business Plan
I plan to franchise Rooster's Catering And Events so i can operate multiple restaurants in Omaha as well as Bellevue, Lincoln, Millard basically any of the surrounding cities of Omaha. In fiver years i want to own at least 5 restaurants . Rooster's Catering And Events is a new and exciting concept that will be the only restaurant offering a full buffet and a sports bar in the same building. I have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years a lot of the menu items will be made only at Rooster's.The menu will offer a lot of variety from serving kids, vegetarians and any of the picky eaters out there. As for holidays the menu will serve holiday meals. I'm also a small business owner now as i operate a food truck as well. The knowledge I've obtained over the last 30 years has made me ready for this big step in my career.

Self Identified Competition
Whether its McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's or even Pizza Hut, they will have an advantage having their name being recognized all over the world. But i have some advantages as well. I'm new guy in town that brings curiosity and a new dinning experience. These places will come out with a special item maybe 2 to 3 times a year. I plan on having daily and weekly/monthly specials that will be paired with an adult beverage. Rooster's Catering And Events can and will offer many exciting menu options from a fajita station in the buffet to having all meats in the sports bar being smoked to perfection. My sauces are made by me at Rooster's as well as most of the menu being a signature item that only i sell. There will also be adult drinks made in side of Rooster's none of the above places sells alcohol or even margaritas but i do. The last thing is the way i do burgers i plan to infuse different toppings into the burger for a great taste you won't believe it but i already know wow.
