Supreme Handyman LLC | Application Preview
Supreme Handyman LLC is applying for government grants to support its growth strategy. The funding will be used to acquire new equipment and secure a larger rental space, allowing the company to hire ten additional employees.
The business has established a solid reputation and is experiencing increased demand for its handyman services. With plans to expand, Supreme Handyman aims to develop a stone fabricating division, which requires skilled labor and more operational space. The company is committed to training new employees in both craft skills and customer service to enhance its offerings.
The rationale for funding approval is based on the company's proven track record of providing professional repair services and receiving positive customer feedback. However, the company faces limitations as a non-licensed contractor, capping service charges at $1,500. The rise in material costs and wages has hindered profit margins, making it difficult to invest in employee training. The addition of a stone fabrication business is seen as a promising venture that does not require a license and is responsive to the growing market demand in Hawaii.
In terms of competition, the company notes that there are only two major stone fabricators in the region. Supreme Handyman emphasizes its competitive advantages, including its family-oriented approach, commitment to integrity, and focus on customer service. By creating jobs and offering competitive wages and benefits, the business aims to foster a dedicated workforce while meeting local needs.

Business Plan
We are very reputable handyman company and receiving more demand for our services. We want to hire more employees and train them so that we can service more customers and businesses. We also want to open a stone fabricating division that has the room to grow in this local area. Stone fabrication requires a skill, and manpower. We will continue hiring workers whom we can train with needed craft man skills and maintain the great customer service skills to service the local area. We are very confident that we have been offering professional repair services and receiving good reviews. However, as non-licensed contractor company, we can only charge up to $1500. With increasing material costs, and wages, we cannot retain reasonable profit to invest our time and resources to train new employees who can be potential with our training. We need to add another stream of income to support our business. We believe stone fabrication is very lucrative business which does not require a license and that area of business has a big demand in Hawaii.
