  • Funding Usage

    I plan to invest in the equipment necessary to take on clients and jobs. Marketing to give my business visibility in my target markets. Access to the necessary business & legal counsel so that I have strong guidance on building a sustainable, and scalable start-up. Lastly, I will set aside the funds necessary to cover the first 6 months of costs in my company so that I can acquire new clients.

  • Business Plan

    I will focus on hybrid events specifically those events that will have an equally robust virtual aspect. The first year will be focused on building the business by facilitating networking events, smaller hybrid events, virtual events in virtual reality as well as live streaming. Working into years 2 & 3 I will add an "over the top" (OTT) streaming platform to give clients a long-term growth strategy as well as pivot them to take advantage of the digital content market. Coming into years 4 & 5 we will shift into a "one stop shop" digital asset production & distribution company. We will help our clients create equity through digital content. This will allow us to generate between 5-10 different streams of income. We will become the company that small businesses, specifically women-owned and/or founded, seek when they are looking to grow their business through digital, streaming content & experiential marketing. I am willing to do what it takes to make sure that my business, my network partners and my clients succeed. I know my target market, I know the industry and I see the possibilities for success as well as setting new standards for how business can be done, and the ways in which my clients can generate leads while growing their companies footprint on a national and global scale. I have intricate knowledge on what it takes to get a business going specifically from viewpoints of being a women-owned & founded small business that is bootstrapping. Lastly, I seek to do business differently. My business is built on the "co-op" model. My company values seeing other businesses grow. I will partner with network members who are small businesses to help my clients, who are also small businesses, grow. Investing in me, invests in a number of other small businesses, a majority of them women-owned and founded. Being a co-op allows everyone involved to grow together. This will also allow me to build a large, diverse and connected network that can be utilized as a resource hub as well.

  • Self Identified Competition

    Currently, I don't know of anyone who is doing what I'm doing specifically. Every company that I have come across is doing bits and pieces. I am the only "one stop shop" that I know of. Some competitors that I have researched in the creation of my business plan are Breedlove & company, Amplified media & 2 waves media. Again, these companies all offer pieces, but not everything that I offer The key difference, as stated in the previous question, is that I am a "one-stop shop". My goal is to be everything my client needs to make their event & digital content goals a reality. We will handle everything from pre- to post-production, as well as ongoing assistance in using their digital content as part of their companies growth strategy. We are also one of the only companies in my direct markets offering virtual reality and real estate in the metaverse. My company is modeled as a co-op so I will be working together with network members versus employing team members. This allows me to help other small businesses grow while they also help me grow my company. It creates a cycle that generates a positive impact into many different communities locally, nationally and globally. Lastly, my core focus is women-owned small businesses, women-founded STEM start-ups and "collective impact" NGO's. We are here to bolster companies that are making impact, or have the capacity to make great impact in their communities and the world.
