Brinlee Rose Boutique | Application Preview
Brinlee Rose Boutique is seeking government grants to help transition from an online business to a physical storefront. The primary goal of this funding is to secure a dedicated space to manage inventory more effectively. The owner, a 24-year-old stay-at-home mother of two young children, operates the boutique from a backyard building and is looking to expand her business while maintaining the flexibility to care for her family without relying on childcare.
Brinlee believes she is a strong candidate for the grant due to her unique situation and commitment to her business. She emphasizes that her model sets her apart from competitors, as she holds all inventory on hand before it is listed for sale, unlike many who depend on preorders. This ensures timely delivery to customers and minimizes financial risk. Overall, she aims to enhance her business operations while balancing her family responsibilities.

Business Plan
I plan to expand my business from online to brick & mortar. Which will allow me more space for my inventory. I believe i would be a good candidate for a small business grant because I am currently a 24 year old stay at home mother of two kids under two running my boutique out of a building that is in my backyard. I want to be able to have a job that I can make my own hours and be able to care for my kids without sending them to childcare during the day. Owning a boutique has allowed me to do that so far but would love to be able to have the funds to expand.

Self Identified Competition
Being that I am online right now the list of competitors are endless. My business is different from my current competitors because all of my inventory is in hand the time it goes on my website. All of my inventory I buy comes straight from business bank account versus a lot of my competitors do preorders and have the money in hand before ordering inventory.
