Golf Junkie 22186980 | Government Grant Application

Golf Junkie | Application Preview

Golf Junkie is seeking government funding to enhance its inventory and support local middle and high schools by providing golf uniforms. The business aims to scale by forming partnerships with local golf courses, clothing boutiques, and schools to increase brand awareness. Golf Junkie plans to boost online traffic through collaborations with well-known golfers who can promote its merchandise on social media. Additionally, the company will participate in golf tournaments and events to sell its products directly.

The business argues for funding by emphasizing the need for affordable, high-quality golf apparel. Unlike competitors like Bad Birdie, Rhoback, and Pins and Aces, Golf Junkie offers its shirts and pullovers at half the price, claiming that the current market is overpriced. The company’s mission ties into making golf more accessible to a broader audience by ensuring that both the sport and its attire remain affordable. Their competitive edge lies in this pricing strategy coupled with a genuine passion for the game.

  • Funding Usage

I would use this funding to purchase more inventory in order to better keep up with the demand. I would also use this funding to sponsor local middle and high schools to provide them with golf uniforms for the season.

  • Business Plan

I intend to scale my business by partnering with local golf courses, clothing boutiques, and schools to help grow the awareness of the brand. I also will be focusing on marketing strategies online to help drive more traffic to my website by teaming up with reputable golfers who have a large audience and presence on social media and having them sponsor my merchandise. I will be attending golf tournaments and events to also sell my merchandise. Investors should invest in me because the world needs a brand that is not only good quality but affordable! Every golf clothing company I can find sells their merchandise way overpriced. I sell my shirts and pullovers for half the cost of my competitors and we even have the same supplier! It makes no sense to charge more for a shirt than a round of golf. If you want to grow the game you want to make everything as affordable as it can be so that more people have an opportunity to play and dress the part.
