Cyber Stealth Solutions LLC | Application Preview
Cyber Stealth Solutions LLC is applying for government grants to fund its growth and enhance its operational efficiency. The requested funds will address all financial requirements and support a shift towards automated processes and specific expenses outlined in the application.
The business plan aims to establish contracts with five to ten local government clients within three years, each worth approximately $50,000. Once this client base is secured, the company plans to hire additional contractors and a project manager to streamline operations and improve client satisfaction. The revenue generated will be reinvested into the business, allowing for the development of online training courses and the establishment of a second division focused on expanding service offerings without overstretching the company’s resources.
The rationale for funding approval highlights the founder's courage in launching the business with no previous experience, achieving over $100,000 in revenue by November 2022, and a cautious approach regarding scalability and business strategy. The anticipated growth in demand for information security awareness and training over the next five to ten years positions the company as a valuable resource for local governments.
In terms of competition, Cyber Stealth Solutions faces established firms like Living Security, InfoSec Institute, and Ataata, which serve larger enterprises and have strong reputations. However, the business identifies its competitive edge in its focus on small businesses and local government entities that often lack the necessary security infrastructure. This niche allows the company to meet specific needs that larger organizations overlook, positioning it as a practical solution for clients seeking affordable and tailored security and awareness training.

Business Plan
In three years, I will expand my local government clientele to at least five-ten clients at $50,000 per contract cost. Once I have five government clients, I will hire more contractors and a project manager that can automate the tasks needed for optimization and client satisfaction. Furthermore, I will reinvest that capital into the business to sell some training courses online, consolidate the private and public partnerships revenue and open a second division that expands my services but does cause the company to over-encumber itself. I have taken the ultimate risk of starting a business with no prior experience and managing to make (as of November 2022) over one hundred thousand dollars. However, I have been very prudent and conservative in assessing and measuring my business's scalability and trajectory. On a professional note, Information security awareness and training will increase exponentially over the next 5-10 years. The local government space will need the tools and expertise to fill that skills gap. My company is the silver bullet.

Self Identified Competition
Living Security, InfoSec Institute and Ataata. Living Security is a U.S. Based company that focuses on reducing human error for enterprises through security and awareness training. They have an excellent reputation in the public and private sectors. InfoSec Institute is a U.S.-based technology company that certifies security professionals in the public and private sectors. They also do security and awareness training in the public and private sectors. Ataata is a U.S.-based company that provides security and awareness training for the military and U.S Law enforcement. My business is different than my top three competitors for a few reasons. To begin with, the clients I serve are small businesses and local government agencies. As a small business owner and former employee of various local government agencies, I have discovered that both entities (Small businesses and local government) lack the infrastructure, personnel, and resources to foster an environment conducive to security and awareness. Therefore, my company can fill that skills gap and service the need of the client. While big companies offer tons of free services, their price range is solely for organizations and agencies that can accommodate them. Moreover, big companies are not interested in "low-hanging fruit" (companies that are not financially lucrative) or do not have a good reputation. Investors will see a paced, gradual return on investment as the clients continue to meet their needs by a small unknown player in the market.
