Bugner LLC | Application Preview
Bugner LLC is seeking government grants to establish a racing and retail venue for remote-controlled (RC) cars in Kansas City. The funding will be used to acquire initial inventory and lease a location suitable for building a race track and retail space.
The business plan focuses on leveraging car shows, social media, and foot traffic to attract customers. There is a strong demand in the local hobby community, as current hobby shops lack facilities for racing RC cars. Bugner has identified a significant opportunity in the market, particularly among a large group of enthusiasts eager to engage in racing activities indoors.
The owner believes that their deep connection to the car community sets this venture apart, as they are actively involved in both the RC hobby and the broader automotive scene. Plans for the facility include not only racing tracks but also innovations like VR driving simulators and a workshop for customizing models.
With no existing indoor RC hobby tracks in the area and a dedicated Facebook group of approximately 700 potential customers, Bugner LLC aims to fill this gap in the market. The applicant's passion for automotive hobbies is the driving force behind this proposal, showcasing a commitment to creating a vibrant community space for enthusiasts.

Business Plan
Through car shows, social media and foot traffic this business will explode. I am a regular at the only two hobby shops we have in the KC area and everyone complains how no one has anywhere to go and race their RC cars. I currently have a huge group of people that are just waiting for any track to open up and take their money to race at it and use their expensive models that they don't use outdoors. The real car community is an untapped resource for expansion too. I am active in the car community and also see sales there. A lot of them. Because I have identified a huge hole in the hobby space here in KC. This isn't a small niche group of people, and I think I am the only one that has recognized this opportunity. I have the knowledge and drive to really make some money in this new emerging space of RC drifting and racing. I also have plans to have VR driving simulators, RC rock crawling, drag racing and a full shop to work and paint models in for members.

Self Identified Competition
There are ZERO indoor RC hobby race/drift tracks in the KC area. There is a facebook group of about 700 people that are just waiting for someone to open a place up. I want to be that some person. I am active in the hobby and actual car scene. I have my finger on the pulse, and automotive hobbies is my literal life. I live, eat, sleep and breathe cars. I have a dream and I want to make it a reality. I think I can fill a building full of people racing and drifting cars and living their best auto enthusiast life.
