Apex Locating Services LLC | Application Preview

Apex Locating Services LLC is seeking government grants primarily for payroll and limited marketing efforts. The business is focused on the growing construction sector in Colorado, which remains robust despite economic challenges. They employ advanced technologies like electromagnetic and ground penetrating radar to offer subsurface utility data at SUE level B. This innovative approach significantly reduces the risk of infrastructure damage and enhances worker safety by identifying potential hazards before excavation begins.

The application emphasizes the slow adoption of new technology in the construction industry, positioning Apex's services as crucial for improving safety and efficiency. The owner, with a background in automotive engineering and previous experience at Ford, combines professional expertise with a community-oriented approach. This includes employing local individuals and promoting STEM skills to inspire further education.

In terms of competition, GPRS is noted as a nationwide player in the same field, but Apex highlights its local presence and the owner's Colorado roots as a key advantage, fostering strong community ties.
