The Bodhana Group Incorporated | Application Preview
The Bodhana Group Incorporated is requesting government grants to support essential operations including staffing, annual tax preparation, technology needs, marketing efforts, and the purchase of materials for program delivery. The organization aims to expand its services locally by hiring more staff, particularly licensed professionals, to facilitate access to billing portals. Increased advertising will boost visibility and help secure additional grants, while public speaking engagements at local and national conferences are planned to further enhance funding opportunities. Additionally, the group is focusing on local fundraising events and seeking sponsorship from businesses to provide services to low-income families.
The organization employs a unique therapeutic approach using tabletop role-playing games to assist children and teenagers in developing critical skills such as social interaction, resilience, and conflict resolution. With years of experience operating on a tight budget and offering reduced-rate services to families in need, the Bodhana Group seeks to enhance its visibility and improve service delivery by training other professionals as well.
In the competitive landscape, organizations such as Game to Grow and Geek Therapeutics provide similar services. However, the Bodhana Group distinguishes itself as the leading non-profit on the Eastern Coast, leveraging connections within the gaming industry and adapting successfully to an online model during the pandemic. This grant funding would enable the group to capitalize on recent growth and expand its impact within the local community and beyond.
