The business strategy involves reinvesting profits into obtaining further licenses, such as a Class R, and pursuing educational opportunities, including contractor classes and project management certification at Front Range Community College. The owner emphasizes a commitment to community support and aims to enhance charitable efforts through business growth.
The applicant articulates a strong philanthropic philosophy, underscoring past contributions, including donations and volunteer work with local organizations. By expanding the business, they aspire to increase their charitable impact, thereby improving the local community.
In terms of competition, the applicant acknowledges challenges from larger corporations and unlicensed individuals offering lower bids. However, the owner identifies their primary competition as themselves, striving for continuous improvement and financial stability.
The competitive advantage lies in a customer-first approach and a familial work ethic. The owner reflects on personal experiences that instilled a strong work ethic and resilience, viewing setbacks as opportunities for learning and growth. Funding Usage
The funds will be used to get my business off the ground for transportation purposes. I have the licensing, good standing requirements and insurance as well as the tools and knowledge but do not have a truck and trailer for commutes. I will be contracting business with other local businesses including, property management groups, neighbors in need, habitat for humanity and other local charities. I plan to advertise through the local Chamber of Commerce.
-
Business Plan
I will be investing all profits to, additional licenses; initially a Class R, schooling and educational advancement; front range community college contractors class and project management certification, aswell as helping our local community grow and thrive. Cliche but I believe in the principle of paying it forward. I have donated vehicles and money when I couldn't afford it but I could surrender it. Ive helped donate my time and skills through our local Habitat for Humanity to build homes for veterans, I donate my time and money to charitable organizations such as Thankful Thursdays, and other organizations within Cheyenne, WY. I would like to expand my growth and revenue and in doing so can expand my charitable outreach to help make my community a better place by providing a larger impact.

Self Identified Competition
My biggest competitors are corporations, large entities that can buy more for less and own and control the market and pricing. Unlicensed individuals underbidding, And myself, I am in fact my largest competition, I thrive on improvement and have struggled with cutting my cost and keeping or improving my services which in turn has promoted a larger struggle. I intend to change this pattern and create wealth for myself and my community. I always put the "customer first". Treat everyone like family and work as if my life depends on it. I learned from a young age if you want something you have to work for it. I started as a ranch hand at 14, moved out on my own at 16 and never looked back. Through continued growth, setbacks and even failure has arrived, by putting one foot in front of the other I've gained genuine knowledge that has turned failure into a "know how" mindset. In order to give more I have to work hard to receive more.
