Glitterbomb Salon 92-0515528 | Government Grant Application

Glitterbomb Salon | Application Preview

Glitterbomb Salon is seeking government grants to fund the opening of a new salon and to upgrade existing equipment. The business plan outlines a vision for growth over the next five years, aiming to increase clientele and expand locations, ultimately creating additional job opportunities and internships within the community.

The salon addresses a significant gap in services for residents of a small rural area, where access to hair, nail, esthetician, and massage services is limited. Currently, customers would need to travel over an hour to access such amenities in larger cities. By opening this salon, Glitterbomb aims to attract more clients from surrounding areas and enhance local economic activity.

Glitterbomb Salon distinguishes itself by being the only salon within a 50-mile radius that offers nail services, in addition to a comprehensive range of hair treatments. The competition includes only two small barber shops, which do not provide the full spectrum of services available at Glitterbomb. The salon's competitive advantage lies in its ability to cater to an underserved demographic with high-quality professional products and services, both for in-salon use and retail.

  • Business Plan

In 5 years I intend to grow my business both in customers and location and provide additional job opportunities and possible internships to our community. My vision is to have a one stop shop for customers to get hair, nails, esthetician services and massage under one roof. I live/work in a small rural community with little access to amenities of the big city. I opened my salon here so that customers can have these services without having to drive an hour and a half to get a haircut/color or a manicure. I want to bring in more customers to our small town from the surrounding communities that also do not have easy access to these services.

  • Self Identified Competition

Glitterbomb salon will be the only salon in 50 miles that provides nail services. There are two small barber shops in town, they do not offer all the hair services that I provide and neither do any nail services. My salon is serving a different demographic from the types of services than are offered locally. I provide professional products both in services and in retail products that are not offered in my area.
