Your Neighborhood Trees Llc L21000015344 | Government Grant Application

Your Neighborhood Trees Llc | Application Preview

Your Neighborhood Trees LLC is applying for government grants to acquire essential equipment, including a skid steer, stump grinder, larger saws, and dump trailers. By purchasing these items instead of renting, the company anticipates significant cost savings that will enhance profitability.

The business plan outlines that owning this equipment will enable lower pricing for customers and increase the number of jobs completed per day from 1-2 to 3-5. This increase in capacity will create the opportunity to hire multiple full-time employees to operate two crews simultaneously.

The owner, who has deep roots in the landscaping and tree service industry, emphasizes their commitment to the business as a lifelong endeavor rather than a fleeting venture. The goal is to create a legacy for future generations, as the owner has already serviced nearly 1,000 customers within two years of starting the business.

The company faces competition from established firms like SB Trees, Tree Solutions, and Arborist Care, which have greater resources and multiple crews. However, Your Neighborhood Trees LLC prides itself on establishing personal relationships with clients, offering a unique experience that fosters trust and loyalty. Additionally, they provide a special service of planting a new tree as a replacement for any harmful or damaged ones removed, further distinguishing their offerings in the market.

  • Funding Usage

I would use the funds to purchase a skid steer, stump grinder, bigger saws and dump trailers. Purchasing these equipment instead of renting them would save the business a tremendous amount of revenue.

  • Business Plan

With these funds I would purchased a skid steer, stump grinder, larger saws and trailers. Owning this equipment would allow me to lower the prices for customers, which would lead to a higher percentage of estimates approved. It would also take us from completing 1-2 jobs per day to 3-5 jobs completed per day. This would allow the hiring of multiple full time employees to run two separate crews daily. I’m 37years old. I grew up watching, learning and working with my father in the landscaping/tree service industry. So this industry is not just a way to make money, but it is also my passion. I will not be a person to start this business and get rid of it. I’m in this for the long route! I want my children to learn this industry and I also want to grow this business so that they can one day step into my shoes and provide for their families to come. I started this business 2years ago with only an suv, 1chainsaw, blower, a few leaf rakes and a 4x10ft flat bed trailer. Since then I have provided service for almost 1,000 customers and climbing. With help from investors I can service at least 1,000 customers per year.

  • Self Identified Competition

    1) SB trees 2)Tree solutions 3)Arborist care These three companies have multiple crews and personnel. They also have lots of equipment such as skid steers, lifts, claw trucks and dump trailers. What separates, Your Neighborhood Trees Llc from my competitors is that every client personally meets me(the owner) and at that point we build a nice client to business relationship! I’m told everyday by clients that this relationship is calming to them and they will only use our company. Also there’s one thing we offer every customer that calls us to remove a harmful or damaged tree, we offer to purchase and plant another tree or plant to replace the one removed.
