Lolli's Learning Center 92-0783914 | Government Grant Application

Lolli's Learning Center | Application Preview

Lolli's Learning Center is seeking government grant funding to improve its facilities and resources. The proposed improvements include installing new flooring, repairing the roof, painting the exterior, fixing the ramp and front porch, and creating a fenced backyard with playground equipment. Additionally, the center needs a new air conditioning system and plans to acquire desks, furniture, art and musical supplies, and kitchen appliances.

The business aims to initially enroll 16 children aged 2-5 years from May to August, providing after-school care with snacks and homework assistance once the school year begins. As the center grows, it plans to expand capacity to 24 children.

The application emphasizes the owner's dedication and hard work, highlighting the lack of similar facilities in the small town where the center is located. With no direct competitors and a strategic location, the learning center aims to fulfill a community need. The owner believes that the unique services offered and established relationships will give the center a competitive advantage.

A fence and playground equipment will be needed in the back yard, and a new air condition system is also needed. • Business Plan

We plan to start with (8) 2-3 year olds and (8) 4-5 year olds, 16 kids. This will be from May - August until school starts. Once school starts, we will offer after school care which will include homework completion and after school snacks. Once we are able to sustain our business and be able to hire additional help, we will move to (24) 2-5 year olds. Investors should invest in me because I am a hard-working individual with a plan, and I will succeed. I will put forth whatever it takes to market my business and ensure that my customers are totally satisfied. I live in a small town, and we have NO learning center here. Locally this is something our town is in need of, and the location of the business is in the center of town. GREAT LOCATION! I wouldn't be putting my own money into something I didn't think would work.

  • Self Identified Competition

I have no competitors here. The only other sitters are in home daycares for babies. The nearest learning center is 5 miles away and has a 2-year waiting list. I'm different from anyone because of the services I offer, and relationships previously built.
