Britt Cargo Transporting, LLC | Application Preview
Britt Cargo Transporting, LLC is seeking government grants to support key growth initiatives. The funding will primarily be used to access the Sylectus load board, expand the current office size from approximately 500 square feet, and upgrade essential office equipment such as desks, computers, and printers.
The business plan outlines a five-year strategy that includes purchasing the first truck to boost income and opening additional offices throughout North Carolina. The owner believes that despite being a new company, the market is strengthening, and with financial support, Britt Cargo Transporting could achieve significant growth in the near future.
In terms of competition, the owner does not have a specific list of top competitors; instead, they view competition as national given the ability to hire drivers from various states. However, being based in a smaller town could provide an advantage, driving increased attraction and revenue if funded.
The competitive edge of the company lies in its family-oriented approach, shaped by the owner's small-town upbringing. This perspective aims to create a supportive environment for drivers, setting the company apart in the transport industry.

Business Plan
In the next five years, I plan to purchase my first truck to increase income, branch out to other areas of NC to place offices. I feel that investors should invest in my company because although I am a fairly new company, the market is beginning to get stronger and I am confident that my company, if funded, would be able to grow in the coming years.
-
Self Identified Competition
I do not feel I have a top three competitor list. Due to at this moment I am able to bring on drivers from other states, I feel that my competitors are nationwide. However, with my company being located in a smaller town, I feel that being funded and allowing my company to grow may increase numbers in attraction, revenue, and all other categories. My company, I feel, is different due to myself growing up in a small town makes me and my company family oriented and I strive to offer my drivers the best in what they do!
