CARLDEN HEALTH FAMILY CLINIC LLC | Application Preview
CARLDEN HEALTH FAMILY CLINIC LLC is seeking government grants to support the purchase of medical equipment, cover the rental costs of the office space, and pay for staff salaries.
The clinic plans to expand over the next five years by establishing partnerships with local health departments, healthcare organizations, and insurance companies to enhance patient referrals. Additionally, community outreach and preventative health education initiatives are central to their mission, with a goal of opening 2 or 3 more practices in Maryland by 2027.
The applicant, an oncology nurse at NIH, emphasizes the importance of preventive healthcare, having witnessed young patients suffer from preventable illnesses. The vision is to work alongside NIH for medical research focused on uncommon diseases observed in patients.
The competition includes established hospitals and other clinics in the area, but the clinic's strength lies in its commitment to preventative health and a focus on medical research aimed at addressing specific health issues such as hepatitis B and C, particularly prevalent due to substance abuse problems in the community.

Business Plan
The plan to grow my clinic in the next 5 years will include partnering with local health departments for patient referrals and partnering with other formidable health organizations and insurance companies for patient referrals. Doing community outreaches and preventative disease education in various communities. And hope to open about 2 or 3 more practices in the Maryland area by 2027. I currently work as an oncology (cancer) nurse at NIH and I have seen many young patients come in with illnesses that went unseen for many years. I believe I want to start a clinic and help my patients focus on preventative healthcare so that many disease and illness are eradicated in the early stages. And my hope for the future is to partner with NIH to help with medical research with diseases/ uncommon illness that I may see with my patients.

Self Identified Competition
Top 3 competitors in my area are Frederick Health, major hospitals and other small healthcare clinics What makes in different is that I have the zeal to focus on preventative health and to focus on medical research to help eradicate disease like hepatitis B and C which is more common with many patient in the Frederick area due to substance use/abuse illnesses that plagues the area. NIH has been known in recent years to have come up with research that helps cures these illnesses.
