valley press | Application Preview
Valley Press is seeking government grants to sustain its operations after 17 years in business. Founded by the applicant's father in 1988 and run by them since 2004, the company is facing financial challenges, including $14,900 in back rent. To improve sales, a new salesperson has been hired, and the applicant is actively participating in a business group with a strong focus on marketing strategies.
The applicant emphasizes their dedication and integrity, expressing a strong desire to avoid closing the business. The company faces competition from larger organizations such as Office Depot, Rapid Color, and Creel Printing, which have more advanced printing technology. However, Valley Press distinguishes itself by providing personalized service and high-quality prints, ensuring that each customer gets individual attention rather than being part of a mass production run. This commitment to quality is articulated as their competitive edge in the market.
