Keating Lawn Care 87-2364549 | Government Grant Application

Keating Lawn Care | Application Preview

Keating Lawn Care is applying for government grants to finance the purchase of equipment essential for expanding services and targeting commercial clients. The business plan includes offering snow removal, tree trimming, and landscaping, with ambitions to acquire or lease four trucks and hire 8 to 10 employees. There are plans to extend services into neighboring counties and pursue both commercial and government contracts.

The applicant acknowledges that it may be challenging for reviewers to approve funding without direct interaction or background checks. However, they highlight a strong credit score and their journey of rebuilding credit after a foreclosure in 2012 as a testament to their responsibility. Emphasizing personal integrity, they mention being a dedicated family man and reputable business owner with a loyal clientele who appreciate their high-quality work.

In terms of competition, Keating Lawn Care faces established companies such as 417 Mowing, Always Greener Lawn Care, and Ozark Outdoor Solutions. The applicant admits to being smaller and unable to match the breadth of services due to limited equipment but asserts that their lawn care quality distinguishes them from competitors.

  • Funding Usage

Equipment purchases so I can expand and offer more services and bid on commercial clients.

  • Business Plan

I plan to offer snow removal, tree trimming, and landscaping. My goal is to own or lease 4 trucks and hire 8-10 employees. I want to expand into other counties and bid on commercial and government accounts. Without meeting me or checking my references I understand it will be hard to decide to fully fund my request. I have a good credit score. The only reason I bring this up is that in 2012 we lost our home to foreclosure. My wife and I spent the next 3 years building our credit up enough to purchase our home. I am a responsible dad, husband, and business owner. My clients adore me and my work is second to none. The fact is I should be charging more than I do.

  • Self Identified Competition

417 Mowing, Always Greener Lawn Care, Ozark Outdoor Solutions I'm not big enough to compete. I can't offer the services they offer due to a lack of equipment. But my work in lawn care is better.
