JerilynHairboutique | Application Preview
JerilynHairboutique is seeking government grants to support the launch and inventory acquisition for her new business. She highlights the difficulty of obtaining loans and building business credit as a challenge for new entrepreneurs. The funds would provide crucial assistance in overcoming these initial hurdles.
In her five-year business plan, Jerilyn aims to leverage social media and personal branding efforts, including photoshoots and promotional materials, to grow her presence and connect with customers.
She believes her business deserves funding because of the unique value she offers. Jerilyn's passion extends beyond profit; she's dedicated to helping women and children, particularly those affected by cancer, feel good about themselves through hair services and wigs. Her personal experience with her grandmother, who lost her hair to cancer, drives her motivation.
Despite strong competition from well-established businesses, Jerilyn sees her competitors as role models and is inspired by their success. What sets her apart is her unwavering commitment to her business—she plans to persevere regardless of external support and views her ambition as essential to her success. She believes that relying on a backup plan undermines the conviction needed to make a business thrive.

Funding Usage
The plan on using the funds are just for starting my business up and getting the inventory. That's the reason I'm asking for a grant. Getting a loan is hard and on top of that I'm just starting so getting a business credit is hard as well because it will take time to built business credit. So I'm asking could you please her consider giving funds.

Business Plan
I plan on growing my business in the next 5 years with social media, and branding myself, photoshoots, promoting my business, business cards, and just sharing information. investors should in me because I will bring money to the table. I also bring more things to my business that the others don't. Everyone thinks A business is just about making money and it's not. I am very passionate about getting my business up and running it. I will be helping woman feel great about their hair but not only that children and adults who have cancer feel better. I had a grandmother who had cancer and she lost all her hair. She loved getting her hair done. So, we would go to the hair store and get her wigs, or we would buy bundles and make her a wig. Even though we knew we was losing her she still was happy when she had her hair done.

Self Identified Competition
My top 3 competitors are currently doing really good. They probably wouldn't even need a grant right now. But honestly my competitors are my role models. They make things look good and I know it's not easy, exactly why I am trying. I know they had to start somewhere. What makes me different from my competitors is I'm a 100% in. So even if I don't get any help I'm going to keep pushing and making a way for my business. I really believe in myself and my business. There is no back up plan for me. I feel like a lot of people be trying to have a backup plan. But if you have a backup plan to me that means you don't believe your business is going to fall through and that's not right.
