Atlantis Acres LTD dba Hometown Liberati's | Application Preview
Atlantis Acres LTD, doing business as Hometown Liberati's, is seeking government grants to support their vision of establishing a unique pizza business that values both employees and the community. The applicant, a disabled woman living with Crohn's disease, emphasizes her desire to avoid personal debt and create a work environment that provides fair wages, affordable childcare, and healthcare for employees.
The business plan focuses on dominating the online market initially, with the goal of acquiring a full restaurant within six months to serve nutritious meals to the local community. By utilizing local produce and suppliers, Hometown Liberati's aims to strengthen the local economy. Additionally, the plan includes shipping frozen pizzas nationwide, tapping into the brand's strong reputation. The owner believes that with support, the business can grow into a national chain within five years, showcasing family recipes and a commitment to customer service.
The grant application's reasoning highlights the owner’s perseverance despite health challenges, positioning the business as a supportive workplace for others facing similar difficulties. The owner is determined to overcome past obstacles and aims to create a thriving enterprise that benefits future generations.
In terms of competition, Hometown Liberati's identifies local rivals as lacking in quality and variety, which presents an opportunity for differentiation. The business will be the only dedicated pizza carryout in the area, meeting a growing demand. The competitive advantage lies in the commitment to quality, widespread delivery options, and a focus on employee well-being through equitable pay and benefits. They also prioritize maintaining a safe and thriving environment for all patrons, aiming for excellence in service and product quality.

Funding Usage
I would not have to go into personal debt to succeed. I am disabled and a female with Crohn's disease and it is hard to work for others without relapse. I want to have a place that I can pay a good wage, offer affordable childcare for our employees and healthcare, which will take capital. I know what it is like to have to pay medical bills and how that messes with one's credit. To take a chance on us is to put us one step or business closer to a model where the people we employ are treated well for their service.

Business Plan
Corner the web market, bank some money so in six months I can purchase an entire restaurant and feed the hungry in our small town. I would like to use local produce and supplies whenever necessary to bolster local economy, the will help us grow. I would like to ship frozen pizzas all over the USA as to bring valued flavors to those who are not in our neighborhood. The Liberati's name has a great reputation, and I know we will succeed regardless. It would be nice for someone to take a chance on us. they won't be disappointed. I will become a national chain before the 5 year mark is here as every small town can be put on the map with our great family recipes and kind nature. Because I have been sick since I was 15 years old, I have been held back from life and success through my illness and it's now my time to shine. I can offer a place where others like me can work and feel as though they matter. People told me to retire, but I spent a life in forced retirement and I am ready to jump with both feet into the deep waters and make a success for my family and future generations of humans on this planet. I have the energy to do this, and I am taking full advantage of my strengths to succeed and my passion for humanity.

Self Identified Competition
Maike's Bakery their subpar ingredients and frozen dough made with cornflour. They offer a cheap priced pizza but have had many complaints as to the flavors. Next is Diamond Lake Pizza they only offer one size and there pizza is not above standards to charge 20 for a cheese and pepperoni. The Shamrock offers two sizes and they only dabble in pizza and run out and need to borrow ingredients from other's weekly, so it's never the same. (Its a small town). We would be the only strictly pizza carryout in town. The demand is great as I have been advertising for months now. Because we will reach humans in the entire USA once we get started. We offer curb service, carryout, pickup, delivery, doordash, and any method of payment one can fathom. I want to pay my employees well, offer childcare and healthcare, and make sure the establishment remains polished post COVID as we want to continue to service our patrons regardless of the global health crisis that continue to pop up. We want a safe environment for our patrons to eat. After six months I would like an entire restaurant. But the franchising will be pizza carryout only. Quality pizza for a fair price, great flavors, and happy and healthy employees.
