Blueville Resources LLC 881515909 | Government Grant Application

Blueville Resources LLC | Application Preview

Blueville Resources LLC is seeking government grants to urgently obtain a cargo delivery van. The business aims to purchase either a Mercedes Sprinter, a Ford Transit, or a Ram ProMaster to enhance its logistics operations. The owner has conducted research to determine which cargo van is necessary and has also applied to three logistics companies for consistent work.

Currently, the business is using rental vans and box trucks from U-Haul, which leads to unsustainable expenses due to high rental rates and fuel costs. The financial analysis indicates that this rental model is leading to losses, making the acquisition of a permanent vehicle essential. Owning a van would reduce expenses significantly and allow for savings toward purchasing additional vehicles to further expand the business and create job opportunities.

The owner expresses a strong desire and commitment to succeed in the logistics industry, highlighting its ongoing growth and potential. While there are competitors in the market, the owner maintains that the demand is large enough for all operators to thrive. Their competitive advantages include a willingness to accept any job regardless of distance, strong relationships with dispatchers, a commitment to punctuality, and clear annual goals.

In summary, Blueville Resources LLC is requesting funding to acquire a cargo van, which they believe will be pivotal for scaling their operations, improving efficiency, and ultimately contributing to job creation in the community.

  • Business Plan

First I know what type of cargo van I need after making enquirers and discussing with people already doing the business. I have applied to 3 other logistics companies to register with them. This will guarantee continuous flow of revenue each week there keeping the wheels of the van spinning. For the past 2weeks I had to rent a van or 10ft box truck from U-haul to begin the business and already delivered materials in Dallas, Houston, El Paso, Kansas City and to Oklahoma. The daily rental cost of $19.95 and additional $0.79 cost per mile driven is already eating up the money I am being paid by the dispatch companies coupled with the high prices of gas today. In fact I am filling this application here in Oklahoma after completing a delivery this morning and doing my financial analysis which clearly shows I am already at a loss considering the long distances I have driven during this rental period. I sincerely need help to buy my own cargo van. If I have my own van, most of my expenses will be on gas, van maintenance and payment of my monthly insurance fees. This will enable me to save some money to buy another van 12months time, expand my business and employ 2 drivers that will join me in the business thereby creating employment opportunity. I really just need this cargo van to help me grow this business. Please help me. Because I have the desire, determination and passion to succeed. I have seen the potentials in this business and wish to tap into it. The independent contractor delivery van operatorship is growing everyday. And as long as materials and equipment need to be moved from one point to the other, we will be involved. The logistics and transportation business in the US is huge (in billions) and we are a subset of it.

  • Self Identified Competition

There are other independent contractor out there but I don’t bother about competition. The pond is big enough for everyone. Below are some of the qualities that separate me from others: 1. I don’t reject any job no matter the distance or location or time 2. I keep good relationships with the dispatchers. This motivates them to put me on the top of their list. 3. Time is my watch word as I always arrive on time and deliver on time 4. I have set goals and targets for each year and they must be achieved.
