Nuff Said Management LLC 88-3765513 | Government Grant Application

Nuff Said Management LLC | Application Preview

Nuff Said Management LLC is seeking government grants to support the HomeGrown Music festival. The funding will help cover essential business expenses related to the festival, including venue costs, artist bookings, portable restrooms, sound and lighting equipment rentals or purchases, marketing, and merchandise.

The business plan outlines a vision for growth over the next five years, aiming to expand the festival from a single day event into a multi-day weekend affair. Additionally, the plan includes increasing the roster of managed artists to at least five and hosting up to seven events annually, along with developing merchandising strategies tied to the festival brand.

The applicant emphasizes a strong track record, having successfully organized and profited from a previous one-day festival, achieving a 50% profit margin. They believe that with investor support, they can elevate the festival's impact in the Champaign-Urbana area and create a positive contribution through music.

Notably, the applicant claims there are no competitors in their specific market segment. They argue that existing events are either well-established with their own investments or cater to different audiences, allowing for collaboration and mutual growth within the regional music scene.

  • Funding Usage

I plan on using funding to partially cover business expenses as it pertains to the HomeGrown Music festival and start up costs. This includes: venue, securing artist for festival, portable potties, sound equipment rental/purchase, lighting equipment rental/purchase, marketing and promotional materials, and event merchandise.

  • Business Plan

Over the next 5 years the annual music festival is set to grow from a 1 day event to a multi-day weekend experience. Growing my managed artists roster to at least 5 artists, growing from 1 event to up to 7 events a year, merchandising associated with brand and music festival brand. Investors should always want to invest in something that can run without the investment. I have successfully organized, funded, promoted, and put on a 1 day music festival. 150% of my investment was returned making the festival profit being 50% for year 1. I feel that with the help of investors I can take this event to the next level of a multi-day event and really make positive impact in the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois area through music!

  • Self Identified Competition

I have no competitors in the area I participate in. They are either so established, investors exist or they aren’t competitors because the product is different, meaning target audience is different, meaning that there is more of a network of music events that promotes each others success in the Champaign-Urbana, Illinois area.
