Care Beyond Care LLC | Application Preview
Care Beyond Care LLC is requesting a government grant of $30,000 to acquire essential equipment for their elderly care facility, including bedding, fire and smoke alarms, food, and furniture. The founder is passionate about elderly care and plans to open a second residential assisted living location within five years to better serve the community. The business aims to build strong relationships with local medical providers and reassure families that their loved ones will receive top-notch physical, mental, and emotional care.
The grant funding will create jobs in rural areas and address a critical need in the caregiving industry for dedicated individuals who offer quality care at a reasonable price. Research indicates that the average cost of care can be quite high, placing a financial burden on families. Care Beyond Care LLC plans to offer services for $4,000 to $5,000 monthly, which will include free massages, daily activities, and personalized care tailored to the needs of residents and their families.
In terms of competition, Care Beyond Care LLC faces challenges from at-home caregivers, larger assisted living facilities with significant advertising budgets, and nearby group homes that are more accessible to families. However, the facility will have a competitive edge due to its serene location on 15,000 square feet of land with a lake view, a garden for fresh produce, and a focus on providing a peaceful retirement environment while ensuring quality care, particularly in light of concerns raised during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Business Plan
Taking care of the elderly is a passion that I have always had, in the next five years of business I will plan on opening my second location of a residential assisted type B facility to continue to better serve my community. Great ways of doing this include, establishing great & positive relationships with local doctor, urologist offices, & ensuring that families can have piece of mind that their loved one is getting the best possible care not just physically but mentally & emotionally & using them as references when the time comes to get new residents. I will be providing jobs to local rural areas of my community and also the care giving industry is hurting for innovative and passionate young individuals who provide good quality care at an affordable price. In doing research it is almost $9,000 a month to keep mom and or dad at home, & even at facilities in Texas most charge $6,000 - $8,000 a month on care and this can easily liquidate retirement, will, & life policies & sometimes loved ones don't get the care that they deserve. My company is provided at an affordable rate of $4,000-$5,000 monthly and will include amenities such as massages that are free, activities everyday & religious services & care that is individually tailored to the family's & residents needs.

Self Identified Competition
My top three are as shown below. 1: At home care givers (as most families are too scared to move mom or dad because of a bad experience at a nursing home. 2: Large Assisted Living Facilities that neighbor my community (In having an abundance of funds to advertise). 3: Other Group homes outside of the Lone Oak area because these group homes are closer to the city they offer an easier & faster route to see mom and or dad. After my nursing home is completed, it will sit on 15,000 of land that has a lake view. On this land there will be a garden to get fresh produce, chicken coop (for eggs only), a pond on the land, and a safe distance from the city during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is also quite so my future residents can enjoy retirement while getting great care.
