Talquin INC | Application Preview
Talquin INC is seeking government grants to support its operations and facilitate growth. The funding will primarily be used to cover overdue bills, enhance marketing efforts, hire an additional provider for better service coverage, manage company credit card debts, repay small loans, and ensure staff wages during expansion initiatives. The company also plans to establish a new office, furnish it with necessary equipment, and create a supportive work environment with snacks for staff.
The business plan emphasizes raising awareness through search engine optimization, word of mouth, social media, and advertisements. Talquin INC aims to engage the community in mental health discussions and is exploring partnerships, particularly with Disney, to further promote mental health awareness. Additionally, the company is looking to expand its services into other states, aligning with those that allow nurse practitioners to practice autonomously.
The justification for funding highlights Talquin INC's commitment to providing affordable mental health services. The company maintains low rates and offers flexible payment plans, currently treating around 10% of patients for free due to financial hardship. They acknowledge challenges such as financial losses and dishonest practices that have affected operations but are committed to restructuring and maintaining access to necessary services.
In terms of competition, Talquin INC faces challenges from companies like Cerebral. However, its competitive edge lies in its mission-driven approach, prioritizing quality care and meaningful relationships with patients over profit. Their philosophy aligns closely with non-profits, emphasizing community service and support, with free advice available to those in need.

Business Plan
Through SEO optimization, Word of mouth, social media influence, and commercial advertising; we intend to spread awareness, as well as invite individuals to get to know us as a team, and make informed decisions as to whether or not they will need to utilize our services. We are looking into online community forums, and outreach for mental health awareness, and have started some of the certification processes, to HOPEFULLY partner with Disney, in raising awareness, and marketing our brand for mental health awareness. We are also expanding our services into other states, with the hopes of meeting requirements for all states that have granted nurse practitioners autonomy to practice without supervision as a physician. My company focuses on Psychiatry/mental health, and I try to do everything humanly possible to provide affordable services to all of my patients. We focus on keeping rates low, and as affordable as possible. We have payment plans available to meet nearly every budget. We currently see nearly 10% of our patients free of charge, due to their ability to show that they are unable to afford our services, but were in desperate need. We understand mental health providers are not easy to come by; unfortunately, the reimbursement doesn't always match the effort, and loss is inevitable during these trying times. As a direct result, we have started re-structuring our company, and cutting costs where we can in order to continue to provide our services, and keep them affordable to those who cannot afford to see a mental health provider at regular cost(s). During our time of change, we have run into a few unfortunate events, and dishonest individuals that have led to uncertain times for my company; thus, we have launched a donation campaign, as we have struggled just to keep the doors open.
