Vexstorm Computers | Application Preview
Vexstorm Computers is applying for a government grant of $50,000 to support its software development initiatives over the next year. The funding will provide a financial cushion, allowing for the purchase of necessary software, compensation for the owner's development work, and coverage of professional expenses related to licenses and assets. Vexstorm is currently developing three unique video games on the Unity platform—one for Windows and Xbox and two for mobile devices—alongside game-making software intended for sale in the Unity store. The owner, who has extensive experience in software development, began pursuing this venture professionally just six months ago.
The business plan involves not only the launch of the games and software but also the continuation of developing additional gaming and software components tailored for both the gaming and business communities. The owner emphasizes passion, determination, and a positive outlook amidst challenges as key strengths.
In terms of competition, Vexstorm recognizes the indie game development market and established companies like Ubisoft and Electronic Arts. However, the company believes its competitive edge lies in its original game ideas, innovative storytelling, and a persistent drive to adapt to changing technologies and audience expectations. Unlike larger companies that may produce formulaic games, Vexstorm aims to create high-quality, engaging content that nurtures imagination and resonates meaningfully with players.

Funding Usage
The 50,000 funding above would provide for me a 1 year buffer to allow my software development plans come to fruition and start earning a return on investment. It would allow me to purchases any additional software I may need. Pay myself for work hours allocated for doing the software development as well as the ability to pay towards myself, expense incurred (in the professional sense) for buying licenses and assets needed for software development. I am already developing 3 unique video games, on the Unity platform , 1 designated for windows and Xbox, the other 2 for mobile devices. Additionally I am also developing game making software for use with Unity to be sold in Unity store. I have been doing software development for many years, but have only started perusing this professionally in last 6 months

Business Plan
I am already developing 3 unique video games, on the Unity platform , 1 designated for windows and Xbox, the other 2 for mobile devices. Additionally I am also developing game making software for use with Unity to be sold in Unity store. I have been doing software development for many years, but have only started perusing this professionally in last 6 months. After the launch of the three games, as well as the software asset for unity, I will continue with additional games, and software components, specifically geared for the gaming and business community I believe investors should invest with me, because I am a passionate and determined individual. As many others I am sure have went through their challenges, so have I, and yet I always look at the glass half full. I am organized, motivated, creative and determined to ensure my success (any future employees success) and the wants and needs of my children and wife.

Self Identified Competition
Top 3 competitors would be as follows: The indie game development market as a whole. The market has many groups of people teaming with potential games. Traditional Gaming companies like Ubisoft and Electronic Arts What sets me apart from other indie developers, is I have original ideas, for gaming, story line, game play etc that has not been done before, where as many of the indie market games are just a repeat of what everyone else is doing. Additionally another thing that sets me apart from other indie developers in my drive. I do not give up, I keep going, adapting not only to new technologies, but new processes, public perceptions, wants etc. What sets me apart from other big name gaming companies like the 2 mentioned earlier would be the fact they are just generating spam games, that do little more than give some of the wants of the gaming community, which results in backlash and eventual decline in brand ownership. I intend on making my software, let it be game specific (or otherwise) to be full of great easy to use and understand logic, great stories that keep you think , like any good hardback (or softback) book could do. I want to be innovative, and bring to the world yearning for imagination and growth in not just their lives but the spirit of who we all are. Like I said I am passionate.
