Kidder's Tax Service & Accounting, LLC | Application Preview
Kidder's Tax Service & Accounting, LLC is seeking government funding to support its current operations and to expand by opening a second location. The new location aims to offer employment opportunities specifically for single mothers who struggle to maintain steady jobs due to the challenges of caring for sick children. The founder understands these struggles firsthand and envisions creating a work-from-home role for these mothers as virtual tax preparers. This initiative is positioned as a genuine opportunity, distinct from multi-level marketing schemes, and aims to provide a reliable source of income.
The business plan emphasizes growth through this second location and a targeted hiring strategy focused on supporting single mothers, thereby fostering a productive work environment that accommodates their unique challenges. The founder is committed to addressing the needs of these women, expanding their financial security, and promoting their success.
In terms of competitive landscape, the main rivals include larger tax preparation companies like H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt, as well as a local tax firm facing retirement. Kidder's Tax Service distinguishes itself by prioritizing excellent customer service and ensuring that every client receives personal attention and clear answers to their questions. This approach is a significant part of their competitive advantage, as they seek to create lasting relationships with clients rather than treating them as mere transactions. The founder believes strongly in the business's potential for success and is eager to uplift other single mothers through this venture.

Funding Usage
The funds will be used to fund our current business expenses as well as fund the opening of a second location. Opening a second location will allow us to hire more employees, which we would like to specialize in hiring single mothers who cannot hold a steady job or stream of income due to sickly children, etc. My big idea is to create a place where single mothers can work from home as a virtual tax preparer because as mother myself I understand the frustration of having to miss work because of my children who are sickly. I want to be able to provide the opportunity to mothers in a similar situation a stream of income that is not a MLM platform and waste of time. I have huge idea's and plans that I would like to put in play but I do not have the funds to do such.

Business Plan
I plan to grow my business by doing the following that I previously explained in how funds would be used. My future plans are to open a second location will allow us to hire more employees, which we would like to specialize in hiring single mothers who cannot hold a steady job or stream of income due to sickly children, etc. Investors should invest in me because I am very confident that this plan can be very successful. I know myself the struggle of keeping a job, if it was not for owning my own business, I have no idea what I would have done financially, especially if I was a single mother. Doing such, will provide opportunity to so many mothers/single mothers that do not think there is opportunity for them out there. I am very success driven; I strive to succeed as best as I can. I am very positive and energetic when working with others. I want to help others succeed, even is their success is something as simple as paying off debt that they never believed would happen.

Self Identified Competition
Top 3 competitor's are currently the big box stores of H & R Block & Jackson Hewlitt. My other competitor is a local tax firm that will be retiring soon. The big box stores are overcharging for tax preparation services as well as does not offer top of the line customer service. As said above, big box stores over charge and look at their customers/clients as just a number. We strive for excellence in customer service. I believe that not one client will leave our office with questions unsatisfied. I want to make sure I explain to the best of my ability for the customer/client to understand and will train all preparers I am able to bring onto my team the same. So many new customers/clients come to our firm for the simple reason of not being able to get answers to questions that are important to them. A client/customer is to be cared for as any one should be and not looked at as just a number that is expected to return every year.
