Your Little Tax Pro LLC 92-0640154 | Government Grant Application

Your Little Tax Pro LLC | Application Preview

Your Little Tax Pro LLC is seeking government grants to support their expansion after significant growth over the past year. The business, which has transitioned from a single-member LLC to an S Corporation, has increased its revenue from $9,000 to $110,000 and has hired four new employees. To accommodate this growth, the owner plans to remodel the office space, with an estimated cost of $15,000.

The owner’s motivation for starting the business stems from a challenging personal experience involving an IRS audit due to identity theft by a tax preparer. After three years of self-study and successfully representing herself in court, she was inspired to help others facing similar challenges, particularly emphasizing the prevalence of unethical practices among tax preparers.

Your Little Tax Pro LLC stands out in a competitive market that includes established companies like H&R Block. While H&R Block recently valued her client list at $55,000, the owner emphasizes her genuine commitment to her clients' well-being, often resolving issues caused by larger firms. Her deep care for clients, along with her first-hand experience of overcoming adversity in the tax industry, positions her business uniquely in the market.

  • Funding Usage

I have hired 4 new employees and would like to give them an office to work in. The remodeling of my current office building is estimated to be around $15,000.

  • Business Plan

In the past year alone, I have went from a single mbr LLC with a revenue of $9,000 to a S Corporation with 4 W-2 employees with a revenue of $110,000. I have been blessed that my business has grown so much. I will continue to make positive outcomes for my clients. As a result, my business will continue to flourish. I did not open my business for revenue. I was caught in an awful IRS audit when my tax preparer stole my identity. I did not have the funds to hire a tax attorney. I was an 18-year old single mom. So I studied for three years, represented myself, and finally won my case in IRS court. I opened my company to help the many taxpayers in those same situations. I’ve found that 70% of audits are caused by the unethical acts of tax preparers. I am grateful for my short success but it was never intended. I really just want to use my expertise to help others.

  • Self Identified Competition

H&R Block (they actually offered me $55,000 for my client list two months ago) I processed over 1250 returns this year. I actually care about my clients. I don’t see them as a paycheck. Most of the time I’m the one fixing my competitors mistakes by resolving their client issues. I have had so many of my clients come from big name tax companies with their taxes in a mess. I gladly fix them.
