Tassin Remodeling & Repair 85-3820661 | Government Grant Application

Tassin Remodeling & Repair | Application Preview

Tassin Remodeling & Repair is seeking government grants to address several financial challenges and foster growth within their business. The primary purpose of the funding would be to settle debts accumulated from operational expenses and to invest in new equipment, particularly to recover from setbacks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their business plan centers on reinvesting in the company, aiming to expand by acquiring commercial fleets and additional equipment that will enable multiple employees to work on various projects simultaneously.

The application outlines a heartfelt commitment to customer service and community. The owners express a deep passion for remodeling homes and a desire to ensure their employees receive necessary raises to support their families amid rising living costs. They emphasize their journey of building the business from the ground up, having never taken out loans, yet frequently facing financial strain.

In terms of competition, Tassin Remodeling identifies other local remodeling and construction companies as their primary rivals, many of which have established networks and reputations in the area. However, they highlight their competitive edge as starting from scratch, combining extensive industry experience with a unique offering of design and remodeling services. This approach focuses on personalized customer interactions rather than treating clients as mere transactions. The owners are dedicated to providing quality work while balancing their responsibilities to their family and employees. They believe receiving a grant would provide crucial support during this challenging time.

  • Business Plan

We want to be able to invest back into our company so we can expand it such as buying commercial fleets and more equipment for multiple employees to use on different jobs at once. We pour our heart and soul into remodeling customer’s homes. This has been a passion of mine and my husband’s for years so to be able to grow and make this business a huge success would be amazing. We want to be able to be in a position where we can invest in our employees, to give them the raises they need to be able to support their families in this time where the economy is constantly becoming more costly by the day. It’s really hard trying to make it as a small business when we have built this company from scratch, we have never taken out loans to this day by a huge miracle. There have been times where we have fell short and have not been able to pay ourselves but we have always managed to get the jobs done and made sure our employees were always paid every week. It’s hard in this day and time, for everyone not just us. But we would be humbled to have a grant given to us, it would mean the world right now.

  • Self Identified Competition

Our three top competitors would have to be other local remodeling companies as well as new construction companies in this town. Many other companies have been around for years and are already established and have the connections that we are striving to build ourselves. I think what sets us apart from the local competition is that we started from ground zero. My husband grew up working this industry learning the trade through his uncle working on rental properties. I, myself, have always had a passion for design and am self taught in it. The difference between us and them is, we actually offer designing AND remodeling. I help customers pick out and design the layouts they want with a program i have and my husband executes the plan. We don’t treat our customers as a number we genuinely get to know them and their families and make sure to put our best work on each job. At the end of the day, we are just trying our best to provide for ourselves and our three children. We work so hard day in, day out to do what we have to, to make ends meet.
