Raise the Bar Energy & Nutrition 9926783 | Government Grant Application

Raise the Bar Energy & Nutrition | Application Preview

Raise the Bar Energy & Nutrition is seeking government grants to support its mission of promoting a healthy community through nutritious meal options and active living guidance. The funding will be used primarily to cover $14,880 in back rent and startup costs, alleviating financial strain caused by a downturn in revenue due to rising supply and gas costs. This support will enable the business to continue its operations and expand fitness classes from twice a week to 5-6 times a week, alongside improving advertising efforts and installing proper flooring for these classes.

In terms of business strategy, Raise the Bar plans to grow its 'tea drops' initiative, delivering B-Vitamin energy teas to local businesses and increasing its social media presence with targeted advertisements. Additionally, they aim to launch a 'Lift with Him' Ministry fitness class to benefit local charities.

The application emphasizes the unique role Raise the Bar plays in fostering a community-oriented atmosphere, where patrons can connect and access guidance on healthy lifestyles. Their community involvement includes supporting local events and charities, setting them apart from competitors like Lincoln Perk, Sonic, and Casey's gas station, which primarily focus on convenience. The business's competitive advantage lies in its commitment to educating customers about healthier choices and creating an inviting environment conducive to wellness.

Raise the bar is heavily involved with the community by participating in local events and donating items for silent auctions. We open our doors to provide healthy active lifestyle guidance, something that this community and surrounding areas is in short of. We stay on top of our knowledge by attending weekly zoom meetings and monthly in-person trainings across the US.

  • Self Identified Competition

Our top three competitors are Lincoln Perk a coffee shop directly beside us, Sonic located behind us and Casey's gas station located a crossed the street. Both Lincoln Perk and Sonic offer a drive thru option, which creates a convenience for their business. What sets me apart from my competitors is our overall mission and goal to create a healthy active lifestyle community. The passion we have to provide knowledge about the benefits of consuming our products over grabbing something quick and on the run. Emphasizing that food is fuel for the body and creating an environment that is light and enjoyable.
