Kin Care Home Care 88-1474513 | Government Grant Application

Kin Care Home Care | Application Preview

Kin Care Home Care is applying for government grants to secure funding that will help them meet essential operational requirements and support business growth. The company must have been in operation for at least three years and maintain a minimum bank balance of $50,000 to qualify for the Medicaid waiver.

The funding will be utilized for various purposes, including the purchase of necessary supplies and equipment, advertising, job postings, and employee training. Additionally, the business needs financial support for licensing, insurance, and other annual fees, as well as to provide a small salary for the owner to dedicate time to developing the business.

The business plan includes initiatives such as connecting with local hospitals, hosting community events, and building partnerships with living facilities, local businesses, churches, and schools. There will also be a focus on maintaining an online presence to engage the community effectively.

Kin Care Home Care differentiates itself from competitors by emphasizing a passionate, family-oriented approach to care. The owner, drawing on personal experiences and a strong faith foundation, aims to provide high-quality care that fosters a loving environment for both clients and staff. The mission is driven by a desire to improve the quality of life for those in need, rather than a purely profit-driven mindset.

The competitive landscape includes established players like Home Instead and The Right Choice, both of which have significant resources and employee bases. However, Kin Care’s commitment to a nurturing and supportive work environment is highlighted as its unique selling point.

The owner’s background includes qualifications as an Intellectual Disability Professional and experience in case management and special education, alongside a degree in Health Administration. This diverse experience informs their approach to caregiving, focusing on building relationships and creating a positive atmosphere for employees and clients alike.

Prior to starting my journey with my “dream job” I worked as a sales manager for over 10 years. I was successful in sales and was fortunate to train and develop so many people; however, that role didn’t bring me the joy I get working closely with others who are in need. With this passion, I went back to school and obtained my Bachelors Degree in Health Administration. My goal is to create a family-like environment for not only my clients, but also my staff. I love what I do and I am excited to be in a position to help others live their best life because having a good quality of life is essential for everyone!
