HawkSolutions LLC is seeking $35,000 in government grants to expand its services by venturing into telecommunication tower and energy pole inspections while also offering aerial support for local law enforcement. The funding will be used to acquire essential equipment, including a DJI M30T drone and the Airworx Go-Command system for live video streaming to officers.
To support the increased operational demand, the company plans to establish a pilot network with both independent contractors and local employees. Additional hires will focus on customer relations, social media management, accounting, and onboarding new clients.
HawkSolutions was founded by a husband-and-wife team with substantial aviation experience. The owner has been involved in aviation since 2012, including active duty military service and a background flying for the USAF, accumulating over 200 flight hours. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with a minor in Unmanned Aerial Systems, while his wife has a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a major in Aviation Management.
The UAS industry is still developing, and HawkSolutions believes it faces minimal direct competition, as local companies focus on different specializations. The company's competitive advantage lies in its extensive aviation expertise, emphasis on safety, and commitment to serving local agencies in law enforcement and the energy sector.

Business Plan
HawkSolutions plans to add a pilot network to handle the increase in of flight missions. These pilots will be hired as 1099-k contractors for areas outside of HawkSolution's local operations. Additionally, we plan to add pilots for local operations as employees. Additional employees will be added to handle customer relations, social media, accounting, and onboarding new customers. My wife and I started the company with a fair amount of experience in the aviation industry. I started flying manned aircraft back in 2012. I am currently on active duty military and have served on deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. I later became a pilot for the USAF and have amassed over 200 hours of flight operations. My degree is a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with a minor in Unmanned Aerial Systems. My wife Erika has a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Major in Aviation Management. We aim to utilize our experience and skills to get involved with local agencies like law enforcement and the energy sector.

Self Identified Competition
The UAS industry is still relatively small; I would not say that I am in direct competition with other companies. Each drone company near HawkSolutions specializes in different focus areas. What makes HawkSolutions different from my competitors is our unique aviation experience gained from being a pilot with the USAF, aviation degrees, and other aviation industry experiences. Additionally, my degree in Aeronautics complements our aviation skills, where we take safety as a priority.
