FSV Sports and More, LLC | Application Preview
FSV Sports and More, LLC is seeking government grants to establish a substantial inventory necessary for competitive pricing and profitability. Although currently self-funded, the business faces challenges in purchasing inventory in bulk, which limits growth potential. A portion of the funds would also support a marketing budget to promote customer base development through social media.
The business recognizes the shift towards online transactions and the importance of social media for advertising. Their strategy involves building a loyal customer base of collectors and resellers by prioritizing customer needs and maintaining a strong online presence across various social media platforms. The long-term vision includes potentially expanding to a physical storefront based on market research.
The founders highlight their skills and determination as key advantages, emphasizing a strong commitment to success and a desire to create a lasting legacy. They believe their experience in retail management and a thorough understanding of the collectibles market position them well for growth.
In terms of competition, they identify their main rivals as similar small-scale sellers who often lack professionalism. They are keenly aware of pricing dynamics, especially on platforms like Ebay, and are committed to effective communication and customer service to differentiate themselves. Their competitive edge lies in their willingness to engage with customers and resolve any issues swiftly, addressing a common complaint in the online sales market.

Funding Usage
We need funding to establish an inventory. As I stated, we are self-funded, but dont have the necessary money to buy in bulk, secure a proper amount of sellable inventory, hence, getting a price where we can be competitive and still make profit. This is the only thing that stands between where we are now, and taking this to a whole new level of sales. Additionally, we need to keep our social media director on board for constant push of customer base development. Part of the requested funds would go to a marketing budget as well

Business Plan
The world isn't like it used to be. Billions of dollars are transacted daily online. This is where the demand is. Additionally, advertising isn't the same either. Social media is where people go to look for vendors as well as socialize. Our strategy is to build a large customer base of collectors and resellers, much like ourselves, that will stay loyal to us. We accomplish that by making sure the customer's need are always front and center. We have conducted extensive market research to determine this. That in mind, our plan is to be on every social media site so we can recruit like minded people interested in our product. In five years, I plan to move our operation to a full brick and mortar, should research suggest it. We will always maintain a dominant online presence, because thats what our customers demand. My wife is an AMAZING administration as well as people person. I share some of the same traits, but my specialty is numbers and profitability. My time in the army taught me that absolutely nothing is impossible, and hard work does pay off. I also have an extensive background in retail management, as I ran my own automotive repair facility some years ago. We are 100% driven to leave something to our children and this is it. We have really thought this through, consulted with people already established in the sports card and collectibles industry, and have a solid plan forward. Backward isnt an option. If given the oportunity, I am completely confident that a potential investor would have no regret for investing in us.

Self Identified Competition
We are only competing with others like ourselves - most are freelance, "here today, gone tomorrow" types. Some call themselves businesses, but lack the credentials required. Ebay is a place where we always have to be aware of what the competition is selling the identical product for, and find a way to be profitable and desireable. We are currently still researching this, but feel by adhering to our above stated plan, the market si definitely big enough for all of us. We are willing to be open and communicate with our customers, and do what it takes to get it right the forst time, but should that not happen, do what it takes to make it right. The biggest complaint people on Ebay have is that the sellers dont communicate with them. That is where we excel.
