BISUTA LLC | Application Preview
BISUTA LLC is seeking a government grant of $50,000 to enhance its creative offerings and merchandise. The plan allocates $25,000 for developing art assets and creating six fully rigged and animated talents. Out of the remaining funds, $20,000 will be invested in expanding their existing webcomic and physical comic products, as well as purchasing inventory for new merchandise. The final $5,000 is designated for marketing efforts.
The business plan is structured over five years:
- **Year 1:** Focus on acquiring high-quality talents and launching a profitable merchandise line alongside the completion of a digital and physical comic series.
- **Year 2:** Expand merchandising efforts, introduce a subscription model for comics, and enhance in-person events, including plans for a themed speakeasy-style café.
- **Year 3:** Shift towards digital platforms with improved live streaming and virtual reality solutions, and aim to release interactive media like a video game.
- **Year 4:** Consolidate gains and expand operations globally, focusing on the US, UK, and Europe.
- **Year 5:** Grow the company’s presence in the entertainment sector through strategic acquisitions of competitors.
The proposal emphasizes BISUTA's unique position in the market, setting it apart from competitors like VSHOJO INC., Cover Corporation, and AnyColor INC. The founder highlights a strong work ethic and personal commitment, having built the business from humble beginnings and overcoming challenges despite being from a disadvantaged background.
BISUTA differentiates itself through in-house production of desirable merchandise and digital content, fostering a more engaged customer experience compared to competitors that rely on generic merchandising and corporate sponsorships. This allows BISUTA to create a more interactive form of entertainment that bridges comics and animation, targeting a niche that rivals established players like Marvel and DC.

Business Plan
Yeah 1: Acquire high quality talents that stand out among the competition with high quality assets and content. Launching a profitable merchandising business shortly after their introductions. Also complete the already in development digital and physical comic series. Year 2: Larger scale merchandising, more products on offer, a subscription based model for our digital and physical content. More talents and a bigger focus on in person events and locations. Opening up a themed and unique speakeasy styled cafe. Year 3: Larger push into digital spheres, higher quality live streams than even before, Virtual Reality solutions for streams with thousands of live viewers. Release of full scale interactive media(video game/PC software) Year 4: Consolidating prior gains, natural growth around the world with more US locations and a few Britain and EU based locations. Year 5: Buying out competitors, establishing the company in the entertainment sphere permanently. We currently have an upcoming physical comic, an ecommerce platform, custom merchandise printed and shipped from the USA -- and I've done it with pennies on the dollar, doing it with a lot of sleepless nights and penny pinching. Learning various skills myself to save on money to keep the ship cruising. I'm from a so called "disadvantaged" background, being African American, but I do not feel held back by anything but the sadly few hours we have in a working day. I've cut my diet and spending habits to make this work and make no mistake, I will succeed.

Self Identified Competition
VSHOJO INC. Cover Corporation (HoloLive) AnyColor INC (Nijisanji) Our competitors are almost exclusively focused on hollow merchandising -- their big announcements and partnerships are exclusively corporate affairs with simply more things for their audiences to buy. Bisuta is very different in that it has desirable products and services produced inhouse, our merchandise is not outsourced, it is printed and shipped in house, meaning we have control over the relationship and customer experience. This makes us very nimble and agile. We also produce digital content in-house that our audience enjoys, a much more interactive and entertaining experience than the hands-off, standard approach our competition is takes. What you can expect from our competitors: sponsorships and average merchandising labels slapped on bland existing products. What you can expect from Bisuta: custom merchandise favored by the audience, long and short form entertainment that rivals and exceeds physical comics from Marvel and DC, and creates an entirely new genre inbetween an "cartoon" and "comic" with professionally edited and produced "video comics" that keeps the engagement of a visual and audio medium, while keeping the costs and scheduling of a familiar and nimble media like the humble comic.
