VOLUNTEERS FOR VETERANS FOUNDATION | Application Preview
The Volunteers for Veterans Foundation (VFVF) is seeking government grants to enhance its support for military veterans. The funding will be used to address the unpredictable needs of veterans seeking assistance, as the organization cannot predict specific service requests in advance. VFVF operates a fluid Veteran Support Fund, which requires backing from supportive organizations.
Established in 2009 as a 501C non-profit, VFVF has a 30-year history of helping veterans through volunteer efforts. The organization has built strong partnerships with the VA Hospital and other network partners, demonstrating confidence in its ongoing support capabilities. The foundation emphasizes its alignment with the goals of potential funders, specifically targeting military veterans, which positions it favorably for approval.
VFVF distinguishes itself from competitors by maintaining a singular focus on military veterans, having a long-standing presence in the community, and a solid reputation for reliability. The organization's history of community support and donor engagement is highlighted as a key factor in its competitive edge.

Funding Usage
As stated in our business expense statement, the Board of Directors will continue to determine legitimate requests for support and approve or disapprove. Because of the fluid nature of those Veterans coming to us for help, it is not possible to predict when, or for what, service support will be needed. The Veteran Support Fund is very fluid and this is where we need support from organizations such as yours. The unknown needs factor makes it difficult for us to delineate usage.

Business Plan
VFVF was formed as a 501C non-profit in 2009. Prior to that, our group supported Veterans for 30 years through volunteer efforts. Our supporters and committee members have always come up with funds and physical support when needed. Our group has been working successfully with the VA Hospital and network partners during this entire time and we are confident our efforts will be supported into the future. All those mentioned in your question have the same goals in mind. VFVF focus is specifically on Military Veterans and will meet the criteria of most funding sources. Thus, our Foundation should be considered by all of them if we meet their specific goals.

Self Identified Competition
Does not apply VFVF is different in that our focus is specifically on Military Veterans. We have been in operation for 30 years, are well known in the community, the VA Hospital, and supporters have come to us with donations for years and will continue to do so. Our track record in the local environment gives credence to our support Network and our community.
