    The purpose of the funding request is to continue to develop the platform, invest in social media marketing, and build a sales team. The SpaceJammit platform has a phase 1.5 and phase 2.0 for functionality enhancements to enhance the customer experience. Social media marketing and management ( SEO ) will help build a brand which will build credibility as well as provide material for a sales team to promote SpaceJammit and attrack new users. Additionally, funding will allow us to seek brick and mortar for our future sales employees and grow operations staff ( HR, payroll, compliance, finance, etc ).

  • Business Plan

    SpaceJammit's business growth plans are centered around 3 core initiatives. First, will be to enhance the platform functionality. This is critical in order to offer a competitive product that is attractive to consumers. The second core initiative is to develop a social media strategy that is attractive and showcases the product offering. This includes but is not limited to SEO management, improved creative online content (facebook, instagram, linkedin), expanding advertising / promotional videos (Youtube channel), hire / develop a sales team to push / promote SpaceJammit (college students, social media influencers, etc.) and use the online content to expand the brand. The initial out reach will be groups / industries that we currently have associations that have large and loyal followings ( college + universities, fraternities, racing organizations, small online business, etc.) SpaceJammit is founded by Dee Ridgeway and Shaun Root. Our backgrounds are based in Risk Management and Information Technology. We have hands on knowledge on how to take ideas from scratch and implement them - learned from our prior roles. After almost 4 years, we have built SpaceJammit from the ground up, self funded, and launched in June / July 2022. We have experience with building high performance teams in our professional lives. SpaceJammit is an alternative to other available options today. It is easy and convenient and rather inexpensive. We already have a small user base without much promotion. We want to take this to the next level and we are ready to fully commit all our efforts.

  • Self Identified Competition

    Our space is file sharing not file hosting. File hosting platforms like Dropbox, ICloud, One Drive, Goggle Drive offer large amounts of space and back up your hard drive contents, among other ancillary features. Both core features require space and more space to be needed which correlates to more cost to the user. Synching up your hard drive contents requires device time and eats battery life. In the file sharing space, SpaceJammit thrives as a lightening quick platform that is fun and easy to use. In our space, the main competitors are Photobucket, Imgur, flickr and Media fire. With the exception of Media Fire, each competitor operates a niche product that specializes in a particular type of media content and offers features that are tailored to that niche media. SpaceJammit - similar to Media Fire - is not limited to any particular file type. Any media file that can be saved can be shared. We compare very well to our competitors in the file hosting space as well as our competitors in the file sharing space in terms of core functionality. We are different in our UX/ UI. We do not require any software to be placed on your device or pc / laptop. SpaceJammit users can send files via a url link and no space is taken on the recipients device or email. The recipient does not need to have an account to access the file and the speed is as fast as one's internet connection. The experience as well as the platform is unique and catchy. SpaceJammit will appeal to niche groups and that user base will expand as the brand name grows and is deemed credible as it becomes more mainstream.
