SickGrip | Application Preview
SickGrip is applying for government grants to support their innovative approach to the griptape market. The funds will be allocated for materials, workspace, and equipment as they launch their business. Initially, they will focus on custom-cut griptape but aim to expand into a full skate brand, which will include merchandise and potentially a skate shop.
The uniqueness of their offering is a key reason for funding approval. SickGrip is poised to transform the griptape landscape with distinctive designs that are cut into the material rather than simply being drawn, printed, or painted on, as is common among competitors. They believe their approach not only adds flair but also allows skateboarders to express their individual style. Currently, they have not identified any direct competition in this niche, which enhances their competitive edge.
