Wonder and Awe Wellness, LLC | Application Preview
Wonder and Awe Wellness, LLC is seeking government grants to stabilize its business operations and promote sustainable income. The company has focused on three primary services—Corporate Wellness Seminars, the “Dad Bod Buster” Program, and Health and Wellness Coaching—but struggles to generate consistent revenue. They plan to partner with 'Healthpreneur' for assistance in marketing and scaling their business, which specializes in gut health and stress management.
The funding request amounts to $22,600 to cover the costs of the Healthpreneur program. This program provides various tools, resources, and support to improve their outreach and client acquisition. Without the grant, the founders, Katie and Annie, might need to take on part-time jobs or incur debt, jeopardizing their focus on building a thriving, debt-free wellness business.
Additionally, they aim to repay a $7,150 loan for their former co-working space since they’re shifting to virtual programming. The business model projects potential monthly revenue of $6,000-10,000 for each founder, with hopes to expand further by hiring an additional coach.
As a 100% women-owned business, Wonder and Awe Wellness distinguishes itself by tackling the root causes of clients’ health issues, particularly through gut health and stress management, which contrasts with many competitors who may lack specialization or focus on short-term results. Their competitive advantages include a holistic, education-driven approach, virtual offerings, and no per-employee charges for corporate wellness seminars. By obtaining this funding, they aim to enhance their impact on clients' long-term health and well-being.

Funding Usage
We have worked really hard throughout the last year to establish and promote our business while offering our three main services (Corporate Wellness Seminars, “Dad Bod Buster” Program, and Health and Wellness Coaching with Annie), but we haven't been able to establish a continual source of income to support our lifestyles. We've recently made the decision to partner with "Healthpreneur" to help us scale our business. Despite our best efforts, our marketing is not reaching our ideal clients through the methods we’ve tried via Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, and word of mouth in order to offer them life-long habits; we know we need support and guidance on how to market to and reach our ideal clients. In our partnership with "Healthpreneur" we are receiving guidance and support to help us scale our business as we continue to educate clients about the gut microbiome and stress management while supporting our lifestyles as a single woman (Katie) and a married woman with two daughters (Annie). We would use this grant money to be able to afford this program which costs $22,600. Without this money we would need to get other jobs in the meantime in order to afford this program and support our lifestyles (pay our mortgages, pay for Annie's daughters schooling, etc.) and/or go into debt or seek out a business loan; this would make it difficult for us to continue to focus on growing our business into something that benefits individuals' health and wellness while also establishing a sustainable, debt-free income. The value of the Healthpreneur program is as follows: From the HBA Brief 2022 pdf-$22,600-this offers us everything we need to establish the “Perfect Client Pipeline” including 1) tools: license to the Online Portal with 6 “self paced” training modules and includes video trainings, frameworks, scripts, swipe files, and templates 2) help: kickstart call, personal client success manager, private facebook group, daily “topic-specific” group calls, done-for-you “tech buildout,” on demand tech support, Momentum Workshops with Yuri Elkaim every 8 weeks. Finally, during our first year of business, we rented an office in a Co-working space called “COhatch” in Broad Ripple, Indiana. An investor loaned us this money in order for us to be able to work out of a brick and mortar space in order to provide our services. Given that all our programming is going virtual through the help of Healthpreneur, we no longer need the space and would like to pay back our investor for the year we used the space. That total is $7,150.

Business Plan
1) Acquire revenue from corporate wellness seminars, "Dad Bod Buster" Program, and one-on-one coaching to support both of our lifestyles month to month Earn~$6,000-10,000 per month per person (Annie and Katie) 2) Acquire revenue in order to afford to hire on an additional Health and Wellness Coach ~would then need to earn an additional $6,000-10,000 per month for his/her salary We are a 100% women-owned business in the United States and one of the only health and wellness businesses focused on helping clients get to the root cause of their symptoms and/or reach their health goals through gut health and stress management solutions. The majority of health and wellness programs offer diets and/or exercise programs that may be effective for a few short months, but eventually their symptoms and/or health challenges come back and the clients returns to their “old ways” which doesn’t support an individual’s lifestyle or health in a sustainable way for life. We offer clients strategies that help them get to the root cause of their symptoms and challenges and, at the same time, these strategies also function as chronic disease and cancer prevention strategies. So not only will they be in better health upon use of our programs, they will be in better health for the rest of their lives through use of our programs.
