Bronco Braska LLC DBA Heavy Burgers 86-1658954 | Government Grant Application

Bronco Braska LLC DBA Heavy Burgers | Application Preview

Bronco Braska LLC, operating as Heavy Burgers, seeks government grant funding to cover essential expenses totaling $8,100. This includes a recently installed automated fire suppression system ($5,000), a replaced heater/AC unit ($1,000), an on-demand water heater ($200), and repairs to their work vehicle ($1,900). These costs have emerged during the off-peak fall and winter months of 2022, yet the business has maintained profitability.

Over the next five years, Heavy Burgers plans to expand hours of operation, efficiently manage existing food truck loans, and eventually acquire a small building for a commissary kitchen. This expansion aims to enhance food preparation capabilities and create more jobs in the local community.

The application underscores the business's resilience in a competitive market, highlighting their ability to adapt pricing without compromising customer satisfaction. With strong regional support and a commitment to quality using fresh ingredients, Heavy Burgers distinguishes itself from larger competitors like Five Guys, Blake’s Lotaburger, and Freddy’s. The founders' 50 years of combined restaurant experience reinforces their dedication to quality and customer service, positioning the business for continued growth.

  • Funding Usage

We have recently installed an automated fire suppression system in our food truck, which has cost $5,000. We also have had to replace our heater/ac mini split unit ($1,000), our on-demand water heater ($200), and have had to make repairs to our work vehicle ($1,900). All of these repairs have taken place in our lowest volume time of year (fall and winter 2022) but we still remain profitable. We are hoping to use a grant to cover these costs.

  • Business Plan

In the next 5 years we plan to expand our hours of operation, conservatively pay off the loans that we have on each of our food trucks so that we can generate more liquidable funds. Afterwards we plan on acquiring a small building for a commissary style prep kitchen so that we can process and prepare more of our own food from scratch. In doing so we will provide more jobs for the local community. Investors should feel confident investing with us because we have continued to grow and thrive in a very competitive market. Even though food prices continue to rise we have the ability to adjust our prices so that we are still profitable without gouging the customer. Our fantastic food speaks for itself and we have amassed a great following in our region. We look forward to continued growth and success.

  • Self Identified Competition

Our 3 biggest competitors are Five Guys, Blake’s Lotaburger, and Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. Our business is different because we care and we try harder than the others. My business partner and I have over 50 years of experience in restaurants We never skimp on quality of food and that is evident by our customer reputation. We always use fresh and never frozen beef for our hamburgers. We also have the ability to be mobile at any given day so our range of operation is completely adaptable and flexible to meet our customers demands and desires for consistently quality food.
