Trinity Athletic Group LLC 70047584-001 | Government Grant Application

Trinity Athletic Group LLC | Application Preview

Trinity Athletic Group LLC is seeking government grants to support its business expansion following a forced move due to COVID mandates and the landlord's decision to relocate investments to Florida. The company moved into a space that is 500% larger, requiring over $100,000 in construction for necessary facilities. Their new location serves a community with a median income of $50,000, significantly lower than the previous $460,000, prompting the need for upgrades in equipment and amenities to meet local demands.

The business plan outlines that the investment in new equipment, signage, and retail supplies could generate an additional $50,000 to $10,000 in monthly revenue and increase membership by 10% each month. Previously, in a smaller facility of 1,600 square feet, they earned $16,000 monthly with a minimal team. After being forced to relocate with short notice, they're now in a position to grow; however, they require financial support to complete their facility renovations and achieve their potential.

Currently, their monthly income ranges from $14,500 to $17,000, with breakeven set at $17,000. The gym faces competition from local CrossFit locations and Orange Theory but maintains a competitive edge through superior equipment and facilities. Clients often switch to Trinity Athletic Group due to the deteriorating conditions at competing gyms. Their location on a main road attracts over 10,000 passing vehicles daily, further enhancing their visibility and growth potential. Overall, the funding is essential for them to finalize their buildout and maximize growth opportunities in the Danbury area.

  • Funding Usage

We were forced to move due to COVID mandates and from the landlord making the decision to move all of his property investments to Florida, causing us to be forced out. We moved into a space 500% larger and had to put in over $100,000 in construction for bathrooms and to develop the space. We need to expand the equipment and amenities to address the needs of the business to facilitate the needs of clients in the area, which is now a median income of $50,000 vs the $460,000 median income from where we had to move from.

  • Business Plan

The new equipment, signage and retail supply will allow us to bring in another $50000-$10,000 monthly and will allow us to increase our membership by 10% monthly. We were making $16000 monthly in a space that was 1600 sq ft with a small crew for years. We were forced out with 90 days notice, but it put us into a much larger space to actually grow. We need the financial investment or grants to be able to finish the build out and enable ourselves to grow at the rate I know we can and have. We are the premier gym in the Danbury area and number 2 among all gyms in Danbury on searches. We just need to ability to get there and we have pretty much maximized our abilities at this juncture. Currently monthly income is between $14.5K and $17K. Breakeven is $17k. Only been there for a year and 8 months of it was construction

  • Self Identified Competition

Danbury CrossFit, CrossFit 203 and Orange Theory We have the best equipment in comparison to the other CrossFit gyms. They have old and non serviceable equipment, as well as a run down facility. We get clients from their gyms regularly that have left for that exact reason. We offer most class times, have showers that the other gyms don’t have and we have the only location on a main road. We get over 10,000 cars daily driving by ours, whereas the others are on hidden roads.
